Re: One Step at a Time - April 2018

Good Morning, Everyone!

Quick check-in as I have a 6 hour drive to MN. Easter was fantastic. I was with my mom for the day and then we went to my sister's for dinner. It was a blast! I am SO lucky that I have such an awesome family!

Glassie:hug: Can you get on some meds for your insomnia....Ambien, maybe? I just don't want your to crash and burn from exhaustion.

Nora-how is Molly? Keep us posted.

Liz- I hope you don't get that snow.

Pauly-I am so sorry your Easter was crappy. What a disappointment. :-(
bird-love the pic! Thanks!

Ok, big hellos to anyone I missed. Happy AF Monday!

Morning. Taking Molly to the vet in an hour. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully it's just an eye infection.

Eye infection. Ointment 3 times a day. She probably felt awful yesterday and that's why she wouldn't walk

Re: One Step at a Time - April 2018

Nora, sounds like Molly's going to be ok. I'm relieved! Does she have problems with her eyes?

Bird! Happy birthday to your cat! I usually buy Lucy a doggie cookie for her birthday! You can have the snow! We're so done with it! I didn't have the news on all day and I gotta tell you I'm glad I don't know what's going on.

Yes Rusty we got about 7 inches of snow. The plow was sliding and spinning out in front of our house. Kinda made me nervous. My drive to work was uneventful. I walked into work with boots, coat, hat and snow on my car. By the time I left I was wearing my open toed shoes, holding my coat and the snow was melted off the car! Bizarre, but I'm glad it's almost all gone! How was your commute?

Waves to everyone. Gotta take Lucy out. Have a good night!

Re: One Step at a Time - April 2018

:checkin: Monday evening check in for me. Molly is doing better today than she was yesterday for sure. The eye ointment is 3 times a day. Luckily, hubby will do that. I am not good with eyes. A phobia of mine.

Bird - I hear you on the news. What day is your daughter's Dr appt? I hope she gets some answers soon. Have you officially quit your job or are you waiting for them to get someone?

Liz - I can't believe your snow! And then to walk out in open toe shoes. LOL That was funny.

Pauly - did you take the day off today?

Glassie - you are probably right in the midst of your Tuesday. I really hope that you get some sleep. I have to admit I laughed at your spoon in the frittata but friend you need to talk to the doctor. Remember when you very nicely told me that I wasn't coping well and shouldn't have stopped my medication? You were absolutely right! Thank you  So, now I'm telling it back to you. You need to talk to the Doctor and try to get some help. You can't continue these 12+ hrs a day with no sleep.

Re: One Step at a Time - April 2018

Hello From Snowy Minnesota...we got clobbered here! We had NO snow in WI but now it looks like February. Typical!

Glassie-I laughed when I saw you had left your spoon in the frittata but geez....get some meds for sleep, please, sweetheart! You won't finish your thesis if you crash and burn and become a zombie from lack of sleep. We all love you here!:heartbeat:

Nora-so glad you got some ointment for poor little Molly.

Ok, I have work to do before work so big hellos to Pauly, bird, techie, Crusader, and anyone I missed...happy AF Tuesday!

Hi all,
Well, went to work 1/2 day today. There is a giant shipping order which I do not want to do. Asked them again to get someone else in there so we will see...it was really hot here today. I had to turn on the a.c.......it is gonna be cold tomorrow though. DD1 has her appt next week sometime. Says she is tired of being fat and is going off sugar and caffiene. .......Lizann, the weather here does that...freeze in the morning, hot by afternoon.....Nora, how is Molly today? Better I hope......gonna watch some tv...not the news.....b

Geez Rusty, hope driving in that snow wasn't too bad for you. Now they are forecasting more snow for the weekend here. Could someone tell Mother Nature it's April!

Nora how is Molly?

Bird keep us posted on your dd. It's not easy to give up sugar, I sure couldn't do it. My son gave up caffeine. Day 2 and he was dragging his little butt this afternoon, poor thing. He felt a little better after dinner.

Waves to everyone and wishing you all a quiet AF night.

Hello - Molly is doing better. I still can't look at her eye. But, hubby has been putting the medicine on it and he said it's getting better (but he also told me not to look at it yet. He knows me well - ha, ha)

Bird - I hope that they get someone else so that you can leave. I need to give up sugar & caffeine too.

Liz - I was trying to describe your playpen to my son. I'm busy shopping you know. Wow, more snow?

Rusty - as I was just saying to Liz. Snow!!!!????? Be careful.

Thank you for your loving advice, my dear friends. Unfortunately I've been living with the insomnia for a long time and I'm yet to find any medication that doesn't have side effects that are worse than the problem. But there are worse things to have!

Take care. xxxx

Nora, we got the playpen at bye bye baby. Logan now has more fun playing with the little door than anything. He doesn't like being alone for too long in there either. He wants to be by me or hubby. Such a little social butterfly he is!
Erin is off for the rest of the week. They are planning to go to Washington D.C. For a few days. We're supposed to get more snow, so I wonder if they'll go. I'm such a worry wart, you know?
Hubby and I are going to the city tomorrow. We got free tickets to the car show. It's his birthday Friday so I said I'd go with him. If it's not too cold we'll walk around and stuff. Right now it's super windy outside!
My mom made dinner for us tonight. Kind of an early birthday/thank you for all you do for us gift. Hubby is always fixing things at their house and stuff. I'm pretty sure my parents like him better than me.
How was everyone's Wednesday?

Glassie - I'm sorry that I was being a nag. I knew you had tried so many things. I hear you on the side effects. I'm going to send you some sheep so that you can count them. counting sheep.jpg
