That's good starty! Our state pension is rubbish - 245 euros a week but ill get that in 6 years time and a small pension from my job so will retire then probably - will have worked long enough!
Woke up with the glums so need to go and work on that - cuppa first ;-)

You think 245 a week is rubbish Molls ? I think it's brilliant ......

I'll 66 and a bit plus whatever is left of the teeny weeny private pension I've got........the one Maggie advised us to get and then it withered away from not a lot to fuck all.

I have 4 small private pensions 2 are final salary ones and i do feel lucky to have them not that they amount to much but it all helps

Well I'm the only earner at the moment - so that would be all coming into the house. Just can't imagine it somehow.... ah we'll see. maybe I'm wrong.......If I lived on my own tho - I wouldn't need a car or half or the shite you 'need' when a man is around.. so yeah if I was alone it'd be grand...

Don't know much about living with diabetes (if that's what it is Starty)- except my BIL - had it all his life and it didn't seem to interfere with living - I'm sure he's just ticking all the boxes maybe?
Right - I'm off to bed - guessing I'm a bit of a miserable old biddy around here lately so may just take a little break for a day or two - not contributing a lot of happy clappyness!!!!

Starty, my MIL's had diabetes for years. She's 93 is a bit frail but eats most things.......she still has two digestives with her tea.

I think the state pension is not bad, assuming youve paid off your mortgage and the kids have fecked off. Free travel and free doctor too? If your in good health, its very doable. My inlaws manage on it too.

Ah feck off.. (not literally, come back :moonwalk. Happy clappy gets very annoying. Reality is better.
Anyway, Im never bringing back my library books because I wont have to pay anymore, so come and get me now, ha ha.

Well if Mr JC was anything like Mr M for the last couple of days, I empathise. Wound up so he was. Eldest daughter left a sanitary towel under his pillow!
