Just reading about the heat at the London Marathon! nuts.. Well done you pair again!

Are you back in work Molly? Thats usually where I switch off from all stuff knocking around in my head. Will things sort them selves out?

[MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION], great advice here about the young fella. Just chatting to my mam earlier about that relative of mine would would have just missed young Satz in the center. Hes a couple of years older and that wasnt his first stint, but it seems to have stuck so far. Im not sure whats different this time, his circumstances maybe, no one would take him in plus he was close to never seeing his kids again. He was rock bottom.. Maybe down the line sending Satz off to a hostel or a shelter would be an option, if you could do it? I don't know.. its the 'what if's' then would wreck your head.

Evening all - and thanks everyone - wasn't looking for sympathy -- HONEST!!! just explaining my missingness ;-) yiz are all great!! I wasn't out of work Mer -- it's deffo the place I go to rid myself of the woe's tho - god forbid I was in a job I found stressy or didn't like - don't think I'd cope all that well... now I've lost track of everything everyone was saying --
oh yes -- re. young Satz - well I'm certainly not saying that meetings are necessarily the be all and end all - but I feel he should manifest some sort of acknowledgement that this IS an issue AND that it's all taking place in YOUR safe place.. he needs to show willing to something really and I'm delighted he has countenanced that idea anyway.. very hard.. I think the idea of him finding somewhere like a hostel to live while he is still drinking is the right idea - but throw in the love and guilt of a parent and I don't know that that's in any of us to do.. I'm not saying I wouldn't - I just don't know....

well done Arsey and Whiz -- just great - some days I consider I'm a success just getting from one end of the day to d'other never mind a marathon thrown in in the middle

Got myself a new freezer today - fed up with the half of a fridge size thing so now I'm going to build up a lovely store of stuff - and Joe has built raised beds for veg. so I'll be able to freeze that which we can't eat - should be sort of fun really - have never had decent freezer space..

Yep agreed Mers & Molls - work is the place to forget everything ..... and let them all get on with it....
Mr S going for an MRI in the morning on his gammy knee - FFS - we ALL have to get involved in the preparation.
Will I wear shorts ? Best cut my toe nails ? What time do I need to get up ?

Jesus I had less fuss going in to give birth .....

I'm in work today - actually love going in these days.
Ol bitch receptionist is me pal now. Now that she couldn't get the better of my 'niceness' to everyone.
She's actually on the back foot now 'cos boss sees & hears what's happening from others - including visitors.
