Our electricity went off around 9.30 last night, a huge area affected. I expect Mollys went too. Everyone I know was in bed early and had a great sleep - North County Dublin was well rested today, they should do it once a month.:happy2:

Yes, I meditate as often as I can but not often enough Rusty. I should do it more as it does help.

Somewhat calmer today although had to do yet another bloody presentation. It is getting a bit ridiculous now!

The S&H also got offered a job as a sommelier in one of the posh hotels........he thought it was as the wine buyer and in charge of the cellars. Turned out to be a bar-tender job where his only input would have been..........dya want red or white?....saying that he'd have taken it had the Samsung job not arrived...better to look for a job when you've already got one.......imho

Update on the S&H.........the Samsung job doesn't appear to what it is...........all a bit complicated but luckily he hasn't told the hotel where to shove it.

Didn't think I'd enjoy Jeremy Thorpe thing..........can't stand Hugh Grant as I hate,loathe and detest rom-coms but he was excellent.

Good morning everyone. Hope you feeling better JC. Shout out to Molly, she wasn’t feeling great last time she checked in. Just finished watching Safe on Netflix and am now watching the Durrells Starty. Also watching box set of Game of Thrones that hubby got for Christmas last year, am up to Season 4. Was waiting for him to start watching it but he kept putting it off so I went ahead one weekend he wasn’t here. Yesterday was fab so hope today is as good.

Mother saga update :
She wants to come home every 5 minutes.
Not entertaining it - talking to 4 walls at home she'd be. So I tell her that. Then she forgets and asks again.
I counted in 30 mins yesterday she asked MrS what happened to his knee - 14 times ( had keyhole surgery last Friday) .. before yous ask :haha:

We're collecting her soon and bringing her to the cemetery and for lunch in Howth ..... she'll forget that as sooon as we drop her back though.
Ah well - she'll enjoy it while she's experiencing it ..

Not seeing yer woman at Barnardo's......rang her this aftie to confirm times for the induction tomorrow and she's not in 'til Saturday.

The son and heir won't be working for Samsung or the hotel ...............he's been offered an assistant manager's job at Sainsbury's and he's taking this one. Starts the 11th June and they'll honour all his holiday dates.
