Her Majesty Queen Bess the Labrador has had a quiet day.......being in dog years about 98 years old.......and thanks you for her birthday wishes. No presents but we've promised her some ice-pops tomorrow........she has spent most of the day in the shade or hanging about in the kitchen in case someone dropped some food.
Just finished watching the last episode of Homeland........amazing :egad:It could be worse, I could be filing.

Bit wrecked after galway, but was out and home from my run this morning before the rest of them were up after the party! Tire today, but we got to have the meal, 'work the room', then leg it. would much rather have stayed at home watching netflix, but family gatherings so no excuse.
Glad your enjoyed your lunch [MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION]. One of you guys told me at the start, fake it till you make it.. now I just fake it, and usually end up enjoying myself (well, mostly), despite my inner antisocial self yawning and dreaming about my sofa.
Loads of gardening here too. Im no gardener (Mr M calls me the killer and I pull out the good stuff and the bad) , but I lost myself in it today.

Hi and Bye Benjy! Good morning all else - burnt my hand yesterday on the bbq - coals wouldn't light so yeah - threw petrol on it --- ffs - will I ever grow up -- anyways - wasn't typing much last night but I IS BACK ;-)
now what's everyone doing today (besides Benjy I mean!) I AM DOING NOTHING -- literally nothing - had a lovely day yesterday - almost all the family lobbed in at some stage - but I'm well tired - so yeah - nothing - nowt - may even have a take-out - so there!!!!Contentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Been up since 4.30 to enjoy some sun before work. Have walked about 5 miles already!
So very very grateful. Last bank hols I was on my knees literally and felt so ill. This one is so much better even tho I have to go to the workhouse
