In bed now as been up and out since 4 oh and had mammogram today. How bloody painful are they!

Morning all.
Working today - but glad of it - it gets me away from
* Hopalong husband, with the dodgy knee who won't do anything to get it fixed.
* Sibling WhatsApp & phone calls about demented mother
* and alkie son.
I swear my life revolves around other people's problems and I'm tired of it...... what about ME ?

I will excuse my mother - she cannot help herself :heart:
But the other 2 - do nothing to help themselves .....

Their problem Satz. Start bouncing it back on them. I had a SIL who wanted to look good but take no responsibility for demented mother in law. Hot potato so here catch and you deal with it. My MIL too so wasn’t as if I was her daughter. Did a certain amount but got very inventive on lobbying back at her. Few good phrases for hop a long too when he complains. Might be a bit childish but it does feel good. Have a think about it or better still Army can you come up with some good ones? We have YOUR back Satz :happy2:

Morning ladies, awoken at 4.30am by a demented crow right outside my window who then proceeded to attack a bird feeder till it broke so I opened the window and screamed at him. I wish I knew where his nest was, I would go and pay him a visit about 10pm tonight when he is in a lovely sleep and dreaming nice crow dreams......boy that tree would get a shake.

Rusty is right satz push back for the needy ones. Or start acting demented yourself so they worry about you for a change. The latter would be my preferred option and I know it works :haha:

Starty, reckon I've done about 80 steps ............down the stairs, into kitchen, switch laptop on, back into kitchen to switch the kettle on, two trips to the fridge as I'd forgotten the milk the first time and one stretch as Mr JC had put the coffee on the high shelf and he forgets I'm only 5'2".

Jenny and her new BF have arrived along with Buddy. They're off to a Eurovision party and we're dog sitting. They're going as Spain......hope she gets some good photos.

Ahh there's a long and involved explanation if you've got enough time to be bothered easily explained here...........which I only found out when Australia entered .............try not to glaze over.

l I liked the Israel song.

2 little kittens arrived in our house today. Girls ecstatic of course. Mother will be on that demented list (Im a bit rubbish with animals, better with humans )

Back from the 60th early - left Mr S there with his gang.
Wasn't going to go at all 'cos young Satz arrived home at 7pm - having driven home full of drink.
He was supposed to go to an event to do with his new job - but no - decided to go get pissed instead.
He comes in all yappy and sits down - Mr S is ranting - and I tell him to leave the room as I will not talk to a drunk. Told him I do not like him when he's drunk & refuse to engage with the bullshit.

I was happy in the end to get out of the house for 2 hours & eat cake.....
Home now & assume he's passed out in his bedroom - what a f*cking waste of a life.

Should have been in bed but ended up with Buddy and Bess on the settee.......I liked it.
