Satz I am sorry to hear about the boy, will he lose his job now? I dont know how you put up with it. I get so irritated with drunks. Not that I have anything to do with any now but the further away I get the less tolerant I feel.

Didnt watch Eurovision but heard about someone storming the stage for UK.

Off out with the doggers soon then have to study for some financial competency test that we have to do each year to keep up our accreditation. Its multiple choice so hopefully will pass first time

:welldone: Starty, way to go. :hug: Satz, you have a lot to put up with, take care of yourself. Kittens are cute Mary and in a lot of ways cats less trouble than dogs. Very independent and not as much looking after. Also think it’s wonderful for kids to have pets, they learn and gain so much. Had a very productive day yesterday and more planned for today. Had a great sleep, 8 hours so better get started on it.

Morning, lovelies.
Got a fair night's sleep when I got up there. Buddy seems to be growing out of puppy-hood into adolescence quite nicely. Him and Bess had a bit of a play..........well Bess laid on the floor and Buddy ran round her while Bess barked........Bess gets a look on her face like Queen Victoria........she is not amused.

We've had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters ........the most useless pet for a child ever they sleep all day and don't half bite ........and dogs. I like dogs.

What a productive day. Doggers walked twice, test passed with 84%, housework done, beds changed, birds fed for the week and hair washed. Really hoping my energy levels are returning and this is not a blip

Good to hear you are coming back to yourself [MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION], that was a day and a half!

Busy bees here too, communion on Saturday so its all go. Part of me knows its ridiculous as its just out families who are mostly in and out all the time, but if your don't have these goals, nothing would ever get done!
The poor kittens are probably knackered from all the attention. Instant love and the girls have not argued once all day! have had all of those [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION], but this is on a different scale for them. The dog will come eventually..

[MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION], you must feel like throttling him, I'm frustrated just reading about it. Then again, we all did this dance, until we just couldn't anymore.

Marnin all, so Monday rolls around again. Too bloody quick for my liking. New boss starts today so hoping that things work out well. Cannot help but think "lamb to slaughter" and all that but we will see.

What breed is Buddy Jax? Bet Bess put him in his place. Young whippersnapper

Mary communion is a massive thing over there isnt it? What does it entail?

Anyway - communion is a 'Religious Festival' now here.
"in my day" it was a big day too but more simple.

Now it spray tans, nails , party in a hotel - the works. Mini brides really.
I'm sure Mary is sensible enough to keep it classy :thumbsup:

oh my good god -- that'd be like a wedding!! thankfully out here where I live it's still a sort of rural mentality really which is great or we are just sort of poor ;-) - generally it's a nice little frock a rosary beads and a meal in somewhere nice for the immediate family - even the way Halloween and easter have gone just sicken me -- that's not what they're about! and yes I guess our Mary is more of the sensible sort ;-)
sorry I've been missing been really sick with a vomiting bug - literally haven't eaten since Friday and couldn't even keep water down -- bit on the mend now so will chance going to work and see... can't eat yet tho - makes me feel sick thinking about it.... anyway -- I'll see how it goes!!

Bring Mr S to one hospital with gammy knee - then to another hospital to see ma mère .................
This is having spent all of last 2 days with the demented ( I love them really :heart and sick .............

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]..............are you going to just sneak a puppy in, tell Mr. M its a kitten and look surprised when it grows up and starts barking and threaten to sue the pet shop.

[MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION]...........she's a Labrador........and she does hold her own. A quick snap at Buddy and runs off at warp speed.

I'm a proddy so the kids get christened then make their own mind up in they want to be confirmed....neither of mine chose and neither did I...but the christening's are getting to the stage where it used to be a cup of tea, sandwiches and a bit of cake. One tradition though is keeping the top layer of your wedding cake to use as the christening cake for your first born........luckily Jenny was born just 9 months after the wedding. Now its hiring a room, magician, drink fest.


A recent sighting of St. Satz...............
