    10. Years

    Hi All

    Big day today 10 year anniversary of living a clean and sober life. It was this site and the people I met here that enabled me to change my life around. There were 3 other people who started at the same time and even though they aren’t active here anymore I know in my heart they are still sober. Doggie girl,. Rusty576 and Kate1. It was finding people here who wanted to be sober as much as I did and helping each other through the tough times.

    Can’t think of anything to add so CONGRATULATIONS!
    Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
    Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
    Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

                  It is only my fault I don't remember you, I do remember the others including DG.
                  I used the Sinclair Method to beat my alcoholic drinking.

                  Drank within safe limits for almost 2 years
