Morning all.
Not in work today till 5 - thank FECK !!

Mother started that full body shaking business again yesterday. Has anyone any experience of this ?
With all the furore last time I only THINK the doctor said it's a reaction in the elderly to the body fighting infection ?

Cross post, Satz. Is she dehydrated? Low blood sugar?...........perhaps one of the carers will have an idea. I know as we get older our body thermostat goes awol.

Afternoon all. Sorry not any help with that Satz, my Mum died very young and never encountered it with my Dad. Glad Mr JC had such a great time. They were very lucky with the weather. Also your campers Mary, I also hate the relentless housework. Keep having visitors which forces me to keep doing it, otherwise I would be complete slob. Not as warm today but had nice walk this morning.

Good morning everyone. Very quiet around the place these days. Another beautiful morning, looking forward to my walk with the doggies and then plan to spend most of the day in the garden. Nothing too exciting but grateful to be able to enjoy doing it all clear headed.

Mr JC's mate is coming back from Ireland today.......he was supposed to be looking up some long lost relatives but his car has been making clanking noises and not just that his youngest niece (10 years old) has been found with a growth on her brain..........the docs are fairly sure its a cyst but he's worried for his twin brother.

Hi all,

Do you think Mr S is enabling Master S? I think it is a great video and I would imagine for a parent it is so hard NOT to enable in order to undertake the parental role of nurturer and carer. Also the thing is that everyone has to be on the same sheet when agreeing actions to take or it wont work. Mind you, not enabling did not help my dad much, he just fecked off out of our lives and didnt bother getting better :haha:

I am trying cannabis oil to help with my menopause and hip pain. Seems to be helping the hip pain a bit Anyone else tried it?

I'll jump in - [MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION] I am SO interested in the cannabis oil for both menopause AND neck pain. Do you get the CBD oil, or some with THC in it? I would love to know your result. It seems expensive, but maybe I'm worth it??

Hi Ladies,

Nope not on prescription. The one I am using is called Simply CBD and the website is here Simply CBD – Quality CBD at Realistic Prices Its not expensive at all. There are all different strengths and I have joined a facebook group to find out a bit about it. Its perfectly legal so no high or THC but there is so much evidence and anecdotes about its efficacy. There are loads of different strengths and they recommend starting low dose and building slowly so you take 1 drop under your tongue 3 times a day. It does seem to help my sleep which has been crap and also the pain in my hip although still there feels "different". I have been on it for a week. Try it, it does not hurt and it might help .
