I've not used CBD.........tbh at first I just thought it was a way of legalising cannabis over here......but they sell it at Holland and Barret and on Amazon.......another thing with it being an oil I thought you rubbed it on. Codeine is what i was so addicted to fo so long and incredibly dangerous at least for me. Check out the support groups on fb supposed to be great for anxiety too

Ah bless you, I'm lucky that my GP prescribes them as if they were diamonds and they're paying for them out of their own pocket.

I'm doing well on the anxiety front. Think the sertaline's kicking in.

..the S&H went on to be an Air Scout and got to fly a glider solo at 14...........luckily no-one told me 'til after or I'd have been sitting behind him.

I am trying cannabis oil to help with my menopause and hip pain. Seems to be helping the hip pain a bit Anyone else tried it?

I have heard fabulous things about it. Mr M got it for his Dads arthritis, but hes way too suspicious to take it. Doesnt believe in alternative medicines. He got it online - holland and barrett sell it, but the strength might be low compared to others.
Apparently its cures everything

In work today for the first time in a long time........I'm dying to see them. Nothing going on apart from meetings at the moment while the new manager chucks a lot of the old stuff out and brings in the new. When I was in last Friday for meet-up with one of the trustees last week the place seems to be buzzing

Reckon the S&H would have stayed on as a leader but 6th form and 'A' levels got in the way

Just thee and me, Satz.
It was lovely being back at work............upstairs was a midden. Think all the volunteers just pissed off. Left the boss man a list of requirements a mile long..........a biohazard suit for toilets would help. They'll be wishing I never returned. Back in Tuesday. No idea when the barista trainig starts.

Many hugs were received and many given, could have cried. Tbh there's nothing like a hug from another alcoholic.

Young Satz is at it again. Started last Saturday and gone on from there.
Drove home at 7 pm under the influence last night & went straight to bed.
Said he was sorry in a text later today but not really sounding like he meant it. Said this is the card he's been dealt and doing his best - FFS !
At least he didn't take the car this time.
Mr S said "do not come home with drink on you" - he hasn't come home

Driving pissed would scare the shit out of me. 7pm, there are kids running all over the place, especially in the weather. Whatever about drinking, Id take the car off him. Is it his car? Where's he getting the money for fuel (see I watched that video last night!).. He'll never get passed this if he ran someone down..

Never mind the card he was dealt............what about getting his head out of arse and having a look round at the grief he's causing..........you know I'd take his bloody car keys off him and chuck them down a drain so there's absolutely no chance of him taking the car. He's a fit young man he can walk.

The lad that gave me the biggest hug today........less than two years ago he was living in a tent in a local park. Today he's got 18 months sober, the keys to the place I work at so he can open and close, trained up as waiter and barista (he'd been in the Army), his own rented house. He's well liked and trusted. He's a one of my heroes.

Now young Satz can choose to blame the world or take responsibility for himself...........
