Literally FELL out of a taxi at 9.30 last night. Dunno where he got it from or did someone maybe put him into it.
I saw him from the upstairs window and so did everyone else on the road no doubt.
He went straight up to bed and passed out. From what I could see I'd say he hardly knew his own name .....
So sad
He must have been paid for the freelance work.

:hug: Satz, you try and switch off and re-charge your batteries, you need to look after you. Am sure they are delighted to have you back JC and also big thanks for sticking around and helping so many on these boards. Enjoy your meet up Starty and you enjoy the sun Mary. Yours are probably still in school which is a pity but hope it lasts for the weekend so they can enjoy it. I nearly feel I am on holiday, sitting outside having my breakfast at 8 am and it was nearly too warm :egad:

Mr JC's come back with a stinker of a cold and joy of joys came downstairs to find the World Cup wallchart stuck to the wall. He may be a man with a huge education but once he gets through the front door he turns into a scruffy 10 year old boy.

Good morning JC and all to come. I’m up hours but the weather is so nice I went directly into garden. Making the most of it while it’s here. Sounds like a typical male JC :happy2: Have a lunch with book club. We don’t meet over summer so this is our break up lunch. Crochet classes also over but I have a project for the summer. Keeping busy is good.

We are meeting for coffee then Dog pound to see the doggies-then something to eat.
A simple day out for 3 misfits who met in the gym :haha:

Feeling knackered today so not done much other than had a row with the energy co, done the food shopping and given the hoover a few evil glances. Will take the doggers out later and hope that the temp improves a few degrees

Don't think its odd at all and of course, Gavin's got friends......he's got you and Gerard. I think its lovely, bet you had a belter of a day.

Not so chilly today.......could sit in my garden seat and order Mr JC where to put the plants in the planters. Tomorrow I get to tell him where to put the planters.

We had great fun.
Being in a wheelchair has it's advantages. We got the best parking spots everywhere and restaurants fall over themselves to get a table for you.
So a glorious sunny day.
Went to Dogs' Trust to see doggies looking for homes - was so sad to see them cooped up - but they were all cute so I'm sure they'll be snapped up.
I will go back when I come back from holidays and see who's left .....

We then went here : The Snailbox - and sat outside to eat ..... fabulous views.
Yummy steaks ....

Looks gorgeous Satz.. Misfits only in someone elses eyes :happy2:

Summer festival is on in the neighbouring seaside village. We were over there for a while this evening with my family (siblings, parents etc).. the pubs were heaving, sun blazing, music and food wafting... first time in a long time I felt like I was missing out (not drinking). Had to hold my borthers beer as we were walking along, he was fiddling with something, and I just thought.. one gulp would be nice. Well it obviously wouldn't be, but those thoughts never really get totally buried - maybe it was the heat making me go a bit mad :haha:

Today is the day I meet chill. And the sun is shining to boot

Last time I saw her in Jan I was very low so it will be great to see her now I feel better.
