That place sounds manky!! Im sure it looked lovely in the pictures ... And Starts, you inspire me and loads more I suspect - you have had ups and downs, been through the wars, but you never give up. It that's not inspiring, what is!

Luckily, we had a bit of clouding over and a little bit of a breeze.........long enough for me to dash into the conservatory to get the cacti and succulents put out over night.

Mightily hacked off at the S&H's girlfriend. It was her birthday on 27th and of course we got her a present....they've been together 12 years....not a text, not a wee phone call.........just a generic post on FB to thank everyone for her gifts. The fact that Mr JC has worked his arse of getting their house remortgageed to a cheaper deal before the end of June and I made what felt like 3 thousand cupcakes for a party she organised.........we're lumped in with the lass that does her nails. FFS.

The S&H got his Wine Diploma today. Delighted for him he's worked hard. Its not all about the drinking off it there's a lot of science stuff im there and about soil quality.

Jenny got her certification to teach (or whatever its called), been given seven year group (12/13 year olds) as her form class and starts on Monday. She's in two weeks in then she's off for six weeks.

Bloody rude. It must be awful to have to put up with her and play nicely

Happy birthday Mr JC and well done to both of your kids! Its one big celebration over there!

Just back from a run, it scorching out. We were picking up the pace to try to get out of it.. My poor mam has had lots of moles removed over the past few years and wont go outside the door, she would take the snow over this any day!

Another celebration for a collective NO hangover @ the barracks - in this heat!! no thank you.

Or maybe its time for me to stop being a doormat and a people pleaser. When I was drinking I used to bend over backward to show how jolly nice and kind and functioning I could be..............now I'm sober I feel like I have to be the best at making amends for all the times I did let them down.

He went out sharp with the lads to see a band and came bowling in at 1:30am. Didn't text to say he'd be late as he thought I'd be asleep and was only down the road if he was needed....... trouble is not being a mind reader or a clairvovant.........I exploded.Many harsh words were exchanged (on both sides)which he'll not remember so there'll be no point re-hashing it. He slept on the settee and I sent him up when I got up earlier on. Just can't bear talking to him at the moment.

Good morning all. Welcome back Satz, look forward to hearing your tales. Happy birthday to Mr JC, same age as my hubby, he will be the big 60 next year. Some of younger generation drive me crazy with their lack of manners, hubbys nephew did not even acknowledge his gift this year. My two were brought up to write thank you cards but I still have to remind . It’s a small gesture but means a lot. My daughters boyfriend sent us a thank you card after we hosted him for the first time. Well brought up boy :welldone: It’s another beautiful day here. Like you Mary I’ve already been out and got my exercise in.

The hug is well appreciated. We're speaking and there have been a few uncomfortable truths spoken. Its amazing how after being on anti-depressants that when you come off them even after a few weeks life gets real and less dulled..........nb I have done this with my GP's complete backing so don't anyone start throwing their's in the bin with out checking with their doc.

I gave up my ADs last year (with help from the doc so that I could do a slow taper) and I agree that you do feel things more acutely. This obviously works in our favour as well as against

Explode away [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION], I have done it MANY times with MrM for the same reason. He's off with the scouts this weekend, locked the keys in the car and Ive had to do a 3.5 hour round trip with the spare Terrible sense of direction, so I had the car sat nav and google maps on my phone, both contradicting each other, then the phone dies, so that was the end of her, but the other one is sending me off down these dirt track roads...
I was fit to kill when I got there, but they were all cheering and clapping, so I had to bite my tongue! really hard.
