    Nora - thanks for posting a fort that looks reasonable tidy. I still may have to dust and give the carpet a bit of a clean though.
    There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes

        We are currently trying to live stream our great niece's high school graduation.
        We wanted to be there but couldn't so I'm glad they have this technology.

            On a lighter note, my older sister is a registered nurse and really helps out with dads care when she's there, she's all hands on. She is 62 years old and while I have seen her angry a ton of times I have never ever heard her say a bad word! She cursed TWICE today:congratulatory::egad:

              Walking on Broken Glass - this song has been playing in my head all day!!!

              I am having a flare up and this morning I thought to myself - ouch that feels like broken glass. :harhar: And so the endless loop began. :rotlf: :egad: Guess I'll be on a Eurythmics kick tonight.

                I've got a ton of stuff to do so I'm just going to sit here.
                The gardener did not show up (still hoping). We paid him extra - asked him a month ago, reminded him when he was here 2 weeks ago. The grass is long enough that it will be up tickling people's ankles. Sigh......

                  Liz - I'm sorry but I got a little giggle out of your sister cussing. That's the way it was with my mom. My Dad always said that my Mom wouldn't say s**t even if it were in her mouth. :rotlf: Of course, now my Mom says it all the time. (Filter is off ha ha)

                    I realize that I am coming from a different place than most of you regarding drinking behavior. I was out of control. I hope that I am not coming off as preachy when I post blogs or quotes. I certainly don't intend it to be that way. I just post the things that resonate with me and if it helps someone else then great. I just want to make sure that I'm not being pushy. :love:

                        Oh - since I'm just blabbing like crazy, I shall continue. We really need to get me a muzzle.

                        The tables & chairs and canopy were being supplied at no charge. I've been a little concerned since this is a friend of my DIL's sister, etc. And I have been very concerned about the canopy fitting in our back yard. But, they assured me that it was taken care of. Today, I see 4 missed calls from Casey. Yep - no canopy. Oh, they can get it for $100. But, they don't want to spend that since they were told it was free.

                        We have one canopy. I borrowed 2 from my boss at work. One of them is much bigger than the one I had. So, we are sending out an SOS to try to get a couple more. It's going to be hot that day - mid 80's I think. So, we will need shade.

                        Oh well, I'm sure everything will happen one way or another. So no sense fretting.

                              Nora, I love it when your chatty! You had me laughing with your mom using it all the time, lol! I'm going to bet you wish this shower was already behind you. I'm sure it'll be lovely and everything will work out, shade is one thing, but 80 s, really isn't that hot.
                              I like to hear your spin on drinking. I was outta control for sure too.

                              Dad was better today. We believe he cooperated with therapy but don't know for sure, he remembers it but doesn't remember mom was there today. He is eating next to nothing which is concerning. But he is more himself today.

                                Glad to hear that your Dad was a little better today. Do they have any idea of time frame that he will be in rehab?
