            The pain in my foot has lessened and I can actually walk without wincing!!! YAY!!!!

            Liz:hug::hug:I am so, so sorry that your dad has taken a turn for the worse! :-( He is so lucky to have such a wonderful daughter as you...you always put other's needs ahead of your own. I am a bit rushed this morning but PM me if you would like to talk. I don't think I have your phone number anymore.

              Yes we all need to take care of us. If we don't we will fall apart. I know that I need to keep strong and not take this quit for granted.
              I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

              Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

              Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

                Morning all - we put up our intex pool today and it is currently filling with water. It's 15' x 30' so I can just step in. I don't have to climb a ladder which is hard for me to do with my issues. So, we should be in business in a few hours. Of course, the water will be way too cold. LOL

                Liz - :hug: I just haven't been able to stop thinking about you. This is such a hard time right now. Like Rusty said, I'm here if you need a shoulder.

                Pauly - what are up to? Working today?

                  Drifty - I agree. I think that it becomes easier to forget how bad it really is and make excuses as to why it would be ok to drink. Thankfully, right now I can say that I can not think of any reason that would be good enough to drink. But, I need to be vigilant because what if something happens when my mind is in the wrong place. I must always be aware enough to remember the reality.

                    I'll tell you what - this Dean Koontz book has really put me out of sorts. :clouds:Sadly because this is what I believe is happening in our world.                       Nora,I bought one of those pools a few years ago,only got to use it about 4 times cuz it would turn green so fast! Hubs got sick if draining and cleaning it so he threw it in the trash ugh,have anxiety think it's hormones but still i hate that ugly feeling,I'll settle down new lifetime movie at 5,,any word from Liz today?                         Pauly - sorry about the anxiety. Hang in there. I've been bad today too. :sad: I don't know why. Well - actually, I think it might because of the dtap immunization yesterday. Very achy & yucky today.
                        Hubby monitors the chlorine everyday. It's a job. It has been about 3 years since we've had one. Oh yeah -- bad drinking memory - it has been 3 years. I'm so glad I don't drink anymore.

                          I haven't heard from Liz.
                          I am so very sad for what Liz is going thru. I just wish that I could do something. This is such a hard time.
                          We were in the pharmacy yesterday and hubby pointed out a man that looked like my dad from the side/back. I miss him.

                              Well - the birth of the baby is not going to happen like in my dreams. I won't be there and see her right after. The way the hospital is, we won't be able to go back there until after the baby is born and they have been moved to their own room. Which is fine, of course, but I don't know..........maybe I'm just feeling shoved out. LOL That is just plain silly and goes to show what a bad mood I'm in.

                                Nora I'm sad for what Liz is going through - but also for you as well. It must be so hard for both of you.

                                Is it usual for you guys to see the baby so soon? We don't do that here so much. HRH was born early in the morning, and even though I was the first visitor allowed, I didn't see them until the afternoon of the second day so the parents could rest and have some uninterrupted bonding time. Anyway don't be disappointed, you'll have years to spend with the little one very soon.

                                Rusty are you feeling any better? And Pauly I hope the anxiety eases soon.
