Re: One Step at a Time - Dry (And Healthy, Self-Caring) July 2018

I'm sorry that I'm not mentioning everyone myself. I just can't keep a thought in my head today. Between thinking about the baby and the ringing in my head, I'm a mess. LOL

Liz - I have been thinking about you all day. I hope that you got some pool time. I did and oh how that helps me.

Sorry to hear about the ringing Nora, I have it every single day because of my Tinnitus.

Hope your evening and tomorrow aren't too stressful for you Lizann, a few words from John 11:25 to hopefully give you some comfort..

Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...

oh wow - abcowboy - how awful about Tinnitus. It's like a muffled roar in my ears. I'm sorry that you have to live with that. How is your arm doing now?

NoraC, the waiting is hard, I know. She'll be here soon and you'll be holding that precious little girl! Every minute is a minute closer, I wouldn't be surprised either if the baby comes tomorrow. I wouldn't post on social media either until they did it first. Erin was upset because Dans younger brother posted before them. The way I see it, it's their story to tell.
rusry, I know how you feel about mentioning everyone when you post. I promise you I wouldn't be offended if I were not mentioned, I love to just read what your up to! You've always got such an optimistic outlook!
bird, that spring sounds wonderful! Swimming and being cold afterward, sounds like it's going to be a good nights sleep for you!

Mark arrive London safely and is at his temporary company housing right now, he will be there two weeks until his permanent flat is available.
He is planning on exploring London tomorrow. We went to church and set up for the repast tomorrow. We thought yellow would be a good idea because daddy liked it. I'm not sure what to expect emotionally tomorrow and I'm worried about mom. TS was at her house yesterday and she was weeping and sharing. I happen to think that's great because mom, I believe, tried to shield us from a lot. She needs to talk and I really want to know. CJ is pretty emotional, but I knew that about her. She is such a sweetheart. My dad always talked about how mom had beautiful long hair when they first met. She would braid it and wear it up. My father loved that and if any of us or his granddaughters wore braids he would just go one about it. CJ asked if I would do her hair tomorrow like her Oma used to wear it, because Opa would love that. Yup, that got me crying, I am savoring all this special little tender moments, thank you all for your support, your caring is so sincere and it means so much!

NoraC. Have you tried ear candles? We found some in a health food and vitamin store. It's really a bit odd but it worked for CJ who had that a lot. If it's due to ear wax it's worth a try. It's totally natural. It's a candle that you light and somehow draws the wax out of your ear. It's unbelievable but it worked

Nora - it's so exciting that little Savannah is getting ready to join us. If your ears are blocked they may need to be syringed.

Rusty - I often don't post because I can't respond to everyone, too. But then it just gets worse! Please just post - even if it's just to say "Hi, I'm fine, bye".

Liz - sending my thoughts for your father's service. I'm sure it will be very beautiful, despite the heartbreak. BTW - Mark looked like he was also trying to put his brave face on in that video at the airport!

I'm looking after HRH today and waiting for her to wake up for her nap.

I realised yesterday it's only 5 weeks till my trip! Eeek!

That made me cry about the braid. What a lovely story Lizann. I think it is so sweet of CJ to want to do that for him.
I wish that we could all be with you physically tomorrow. But, since that isn't possible, please know that we all are going to be there in spirit. Our love will be surrounding you. :heartbeat:

Nora, after a few weeks of trying natural routes for the same problem last spring, I gave up and tried mucinex pills - worked WONDERS!
Hope you get good news about your granddaughter soon!

Yep. And I've done absolutely nothing to get ready for it yet.
