We're at Day 9. There's been stress but there always is and will be so time to remind myself about the other ways of dealing with it that I spent years pulling together.
Starts that must have been horrid growing up with all that. Just thank God I come form two teetotalers although look where it got me?
Can't imagine being scared to go home and laying in your bed at night worried as a poor little kid.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I'll live........put on nigh on 6kgs..........so perfect weight for my height........tell that to my saggy jowls. I'll win this year's British Bulldog saggy jowl's contest hands down.

Got mightily pissed off at my SIL........and its still rankling. Couple of snide little comments...being one that's banging round my head at the moment.....'Mr JC has done this all himself........I'll give him a hand and clear the table its the least I can do'........pointed look at me. Its not the first time........I've got in the ear from her highness.

Now the question is.......do I just let this go? or I get her in a corner and say listen Miss Prissy pants..that pulled pork sarnie your eating was put in the oven at 3am by me and that side of coleslaw was made by me at 7am.........or do I just wait until I get another bout of C-diff and shit in her hand bag.....I know which way I'd like to go.
I'd line her up straight away next time (there will be a next time) then shit in her handbag, then not bother to ask her back. God I hate passive aggressives.

        Morning troops

Uhh... can't give ANY advice on the men o' paws. Though I do wake up at night hot, sweaty, wide awake and wishing we'd get back to normal weather...

Have a good morning, back in a bit when i'm on a break from writing.

Morning Stirly, the dissertation question is whether 'Philosophy with Children' can help children to explore theological and religious concepts philosophically. :egad: :haha:

Jaysus. Good on you for attempting/attacking something like that! I am not the least bit scholarly so I would have a helluva time trying to carry on a simple conversation about the subject, never mind write a dissertation. I do have a questions tho'. Children have their own logic and I think that changes as they grow and learn and read and experience life. At what age can a child start to "philosophize" and not just look at things with a logic that is in relation to their age? Note that I live in the country where some of the world's great philosophers were born, not that it has made any difference to my own unique way of thinking.

Yes, he is - MWO's own Techmeister! Tawny used to refer to Techie's partner as VoilĂ  - always made me smile. Damn, I miss Tawny. She is such a unique person and she used to post the most amazing food piccies. It was like she made a ritual out of eating by arranging her food in such an artistic way and using plates that suited each dish. Not to mention her own unique way of stating what she wanted to say. Miss the Undies thread in general. :crying:

As soon as they can string a sentence together. The end.
