Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Afternoon all and huge congratulations 🎊🎉🎈 to Mary. You should be very proud of yourself. Just had a lovely morning and lunch out with two friends. Thinking of going out for something to eat this evening too with hubby. Could live like this, just as well can’t afford to, can you imagine the size I’d be :egad:

Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Afternoon all, although only 10:30 here.
Congrats on the days sober, Bridge. They really pile up after a while.
Congrats on 3 years Mary!!!!!
Starty, I had a filling fall out and this am had the great news that I need a crown. We started on it and will be done Aug 2. $300.00, sigh. Guess I have to wait til next month to get the new glasses. Seems like something keeps coming up. Hope the pain subsides on your tooth.
Not much going on here. Grandones go home today. Their mom starts a new job today and picking them up when she is home. They are easy to watch but it will be nice not to have to worry about feeding them, etc.
The weather is a bit drier today, so hopefully will get outside more and do some gardening. It has been a sticky summer here.
Take care, all, and have a wonderful rest of your day.

Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Hi Army - and Cindi - always good to see you... only back a few hours and already remembering why it's good to be in Kerry - jeez how do they survive when I'm NOT here...??!! ah only half joking really - my youngest (24) - his partner is suffering from post natal depression - and it's very hard - he's clueless - and strangely enough - it's so long since I've been truly depressed I don't seem to have answers for him - he's saying she has no appetite and won't eat anything... that sort of thing.. I dunno - I've forgotten
anyway think I'll go to bed - should be left alone there!!! Minding Tilly tomorrow - Jilly has her final oral Irish exam and then she's done so need a good nights sleep for sure..
That sounds sore Starty - does it just fix itself or do you have to get something done?Contentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Evening,
Tbh I'd sit up a tree........it'll have to wait for later in the year.......Mr JC's having trouble getting time off work and funds are pretty low at the moment.
This weekend starts Friday with Jenny graduating, his dad's birthday on Saturday and Richard the Third on Sunday.
Double ouch on the the tooth front. It could be worse, I could be filing.

Yep wasnt nice and still sore. They managed to pull out a bit of bone along with the tooth so guess that doesnt help :egad:
TGI Friday. Yesterday new boss started having a stand up row with someone who is often a few minutes late. I can see the pressure and stress of the place is getting to him too. Wonder how long he will last

Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Morning troops,
Good news. It's raining It is, really rather beautiful to see... and HEAR! There's something calming about a gentle drizzle in the early morning.
No plans. Which makes the day seem somewhat daunting. On a break from the dissertation until my supervisor has looked over my last part and got back to me. Had hoped to have had it done by today, but looks as if will have to wait a few more days.
Off to peruse the tinternet... then maybe read a chapter of a book... then maybe go for a drive.
Have a good day folks

Re: July Army Manoeuvres
Morning,
Molls, have you got Tilly for the weekend? or just a long day?
The English state schools break up today.........so I'm going to have a quick run around town..prolly the last for 6 weeks....think after my Mrs Cranky Pants exhibition in the bakers last week might be a good idea to avoid places that have children in.It could be worse, I could be filing.
