Re: July Army Manoeuvres

Honeys, Im home...
Just had a quick flick back. Yiz are very busy!

Yep, reading about the fires in Greece all week, Stirly is the only person I know there, any word?
Well done on the dissertation Arsey! Whats the progress on the next project, operation Booze free?
Happy to share my 'story' byebyebridgetjones. It might help you sleep, I'll keep it short!!

Sibling's satz.. that underlying current from when we are kids, never really goes away. Comes out when there's a bit of stress going on. Is your brother older?

Great time in Wales, beautiful part of the world. Id go back again in a heartbeat.
delighted to be home though.

Morning troops.

Glad you had a lovely time in Wales, IamMary . Always fancied a wee trip to the north west of Wales - Anglesey area. Where were you?
JackieClaire - thanks for the link to SMART, looks interesting.

Was up at the back of 4am... couldn't sleep. Not sure why. Turned over pretty late (for me) back of 11pm... so got that slightly annoying 'head-like-a-nodding-dog' (you know the ones, people buy them as toys and stick 'em in their car looking out the back window...like the Churchill dog) and feel like I'm gonna fall asleep, yet can't... and now it's 6.30am, don;t see the point. Might as well get up and stretch and see what the world looks like.

Back later when I've got something of interest to say :haha:

Welcome back Mary! Glad you had a good time in Wales. Beautiful part of the country

Morning RC. Same here, poor sleep late night. Storms in the night had a 42kg retriever leaping into bed with me for spooning cos he was scared :haha: Then the panting started and little sleep had after that

Been doing yoga and meditation each morning this week and you know what? My head and mental state feel so much better. I dont know why I dont continuously keep it up as I know it helps. I guess its the same with AL. We know we feel better without it but its the easy way out to take a drink. I am my worst enemy sometimes.

TFI friday. Been a mental week with all the planets in retrograde and a full moon to boot (customers and colleagues go a bit doolally at these times

Morning,

We're getting the thunder and lightning early this afternoon. Bess gets very distressed and we're hoping to be back before it starts but I doubt it. Luckily the S&H will be popping in lunchtime for an hour or so. I leave her xanax out for him to give her.

And as it looks like its going to piss down why is it that the big golf umbrella that has lived down the side of the fridge for the last millenium has gone missing?

IamMary.....welcome home.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hell yes. Pretty much accepted as I was growing up. Everyone was.
I think it comes from fear and being shown poor examples of how to overcome fear isn't it?
