Re: July Army Manoeuvres

I heard my name............proper poorly lassie have I been. Low potassium which makes the kidney's dodgy and finally a diagnosis of C-diff (have a google its horrible) got a shed load of anti-biotics and the most disgusting potassium stuff to keep my levels up. Had to get out of the place...........I was getting no sleep, anxiety off the scale and crying most of the time. It took nigh on 5 hours to be discharged.....seemed like the right hand didn't know what the the left hand was doing.........and luckily just a nano-second before Mr JC exploded the drugs turned up and we were off.

Anyhoo home now and so very grateful for all your kind get well messages :heartbeat:........that started me off on another crying jag when I saw them.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Is this the Army thread? Broken into months now?

I am Cindi, haven't logged on in years but enjoying "seeing" so many I knew still here.

JC, hugs to you. You were always such a support.

Doing well here and hoping to join in here from time to time.

JackieClaire, so glad to see you back and if not 100% then on the road to recovery. Far better in your own bed and us lot in the barracks will keep you entertained. C-diff horrible and was rampant in our hospitals and maybe still is. My poor MIL caught it in the hospital. Feet up and read, Netflix and eat when .you can. I m about to start watching River, my SIL said it was very good. Recently got BorrowBox and I can get my library books online, either ebooks or audio. Few suggestions but most importantly rest and take care of yourself. So glad to see you back.

Also welcome back Cinders, how have you been? Didn’t put anything in the oven in the end, got lovely take away so stuffed to the gills. Might not stay awake too long long.

Glad that your back home JC! I couldn't get onto MWO this morning either; then I saw a post from admin that the bill didn't get paid in time. They said that it was an error within the administration, but things were paid and here we are. I would have been pretty lost without this site, it is a huge help to me. Love reading the posts on this forum, and I really should write here more often, instead of just lurking. You guys always make me laugh!:hahaha:

Cinders - so lovely to see you! It's such a treat when members drop back in to post and especially when they are enjoying the sober life. Great to see you - don't be a stranger!!

Now we need Mollers, KTAB, Tony and a few others to drop by.

Don't know what's up with Mr. G. According to FB his band had a gig last weekend so at least we know he's alive and kicking. Just wish he'd drop by and say hello.

Wishing you all a great day no matter where you are!!!

Good morning. How is the patient today? Just back from the cliff walk, amazing 20degrees at 8am! Was awake at 5.30 and was a bit tempted to go then but thought some of the night time revellers would still be about. At least at 8am it was just a few early bird walkers and the joggers.

Heard this Irish author being interviewed recently. Liz Nugent. Any of you read her stuff? Her new book sounded interesting. Feet up now with newspaper . Apart from grocery shopping have nothing planned.
