Tad hungry, Rustletop. Whoever gets my dinner at the hospital today is in for a treat as I ticked everything on the list...I'm such a rebel.....although chicken and mushroom pie with a side of vegan sweet and sour rice might be surprised.

My sense of humour will be the last to go.
Bess is never further than about a metre away from me at the moment. I move she comes with. We've got little Buddy this weekend at 18 months even he knows to be gentle around me not launch himself from one side of the room and land on my lap.

Just got a loveley birthday card from himself.....my birthday's April....couldn't understand it at first but I'm nine years sober today. Any fluids I've had in the last 24 hours I sobbed out. I'll get them replaced so I can take part in the penalty shoot out this aftie.

Mr JC's hanging washing out with a fecking England paper hat on he got free with the newsaper.

Love it, Jackie. Love beagles, too. My Grandfather had them as hunting dogs and he always took us to see the new litters when they were born. Sweet doggers.

I'm off home now. Finished up at the store for today. I had a bug yesterday that kept me up most of the night vomiting. Not good. And I couldn't not come to work today because younger son who works with me is away for the weekend. Anyway - off I go and hopefully catch up with the Army later on. So good to see you back and posting Jackie. Do take special care of yourself on your special day!!!

Welcome home JC! So good to see you back here and sorry to read about the C Diff. Looked it up as i was munching on my lunch... :eeew:

Just back from the cliff walk, amazing 20degrees at 8am! Was awake at 5.30 and was a bit tempted to go then but thought some of the night time revellers would still be about. At least at 8am it was just a few early bird walkers and the joggers.

I'm thankful our temp has dropped a bit - still up in the early 20's, but not the mid-late 20s. Back up tomorrow tho... Still, I canny fecking sleep. I was up at 4am Rustytops and thought bugger this, gonna have an early breakie and drive up north and go for a run. By 7am I was running from Bridge of Orchy towards Glencoe. Beautiful. Apart from the midges. DROVES of them :egad: Now covered in itchy wee red spots. Here's a pic - IMG_0114.jpg

Heard this Irish author being interviewed recently. Liz Nugent. Any of you read her stuff? Her new book sounded interesting. Feet up now with newspaper . Apart from grocery shopping have nothing planned.

Read and enjoyed all of her books. Think that might make me a little disturbed

Rusty I've read all 3 of her books. Last one was on hols - very good. Good story - eaasy to read - nothing too taxing
The first one Unravelling Oliver was BRILLIANT !!!
