Or we could just run away. On the back of a motor bike. With no helmet. Live in a squat and let our roots grow out.

Well, I'd wanna take my special friend along so I'd have to cover the roots.

Evening yerself.

Now sporting a short bob. Was going for extremely short but in the wise words of the hairdresser.........."nooooooooo that'll make you look right scraggy.........perhaps when you put a bit more weight on"........... I'm thinking of adopting her. Its a beautiful cut.

Been going to a salon for the last year used to have one that came to the house.......but got fed up with her.

Going to have a read back.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Wise words. More hairdressers should be like that. So glad you're pleased with your hair, Jackie. A good haircut or styling is such a mental boost.
satz123 - I'm one of those lucky ladies - don't have a lot of hair elsewhere except on me head and there it's thick. But the roots, no way will I let them go. I'd look in the mirror and think I was my Mam!!

NoSugar - I just have my own logic. Lord knows there are zillions of people who would disagree with me and that is surely their right. I have always been the kind of person who, in spite of having a quick temper, can, in times of duress, step back and look at things from another angle. That has helped me on many an occasion. I also try to be fair to others. Just don't expect more from me than you are wiling to give. Nuff siad.

Just got in a few minutes ago. Jeez, I need a good night's sleep. A lot of ups and downs at work. Left later than I planned because younger son and I had one of our talks. Then to buy a present for Miss Evie for her birthday party tomorrow and finally what I thought was going to be a quick jaunt into my local cosmetics store for some hair get. Half an hour later I finally got out of there. You'da thought the stores were going to be closed for the weekend!

Now where are those peeps MIA? Tabbers for one. Tony hasn't shown his face for the longest time. Bridge mentioned Oney and she did drop by some time ago but then disappeared again. We need to get those deserters rounded up and back in the barracks!!

hair sounds lovely Jacks - I'm letting mine grow a bit so betwixt and between at the minute which ain't a good place - but at the minute I don't give a rats
Joe and I have decided (decided? that's maybe too strong a word) to move over to the atlantic coast when I retire - (5 years +) and think we might buy a house in the meantime and use it as a holiday home - for us and the sprogs when they want to use it - but I've been looking on and off for months now and I can't enthuse about anything - sick to death of Dublin - a dream of a house has come for sale on Valentia Island - and we cudda gone down tomorrow to look - and do you know what - I'm too tired... really exhausted - is this getting old? I don't like it -- AT ALL!!! anyway - I'm not going - so there!

Perhaps when the weather breaks it'll get easier. Reckon we've got boiled brains and we are just not used to it.

Promise me you'll get your feet up and take it slow.

We'll be in this house 'til death. I promised the son and heir he can have it but don't tell Jenny.

Night Stirls,

Molls, just had a thought, we've got friends who have a couple of rentals.........they use a management team at the moment for them..........saves them a bucket load of stress.
