Sounds like you've been through a rough trot, JC. Hells bells...
Had to laugh at the ALDI conversation back there. Here they put you through the check out so bloody fast you end up with PTSD. Don't know if it's a a world wide phenomenon.

Its exactly the same and God forbid you're a newbie and start trying to pack at the till.

Oh Christ no. You get screamed at. We've got a Scottish lady on the till who booms at you to search your bag and gets right in there with her arm up to the elbow and pulls all your stuff out of your handbag. Fuck, it's like a detention centre.
MAybe next time I'll take a pair of surgical gloves and a tube of lube and hand them to her silently.

My dad doesn't use his phone to text.

For years he had this smart phone and never used it. Just didn't see the need. 65 - 70 years without needing one, why now?

But now? Now he canny get his neb outta the bloody thing. Addicted to the news and sport. Though he never uses it to text or call anyone... so he does't use his phone as a phone ever :haha: For me folks, I think their phones kinda replaced the morning newspaper.

It's gone. Posted off to uni, emailed to my supervisor...

And now, now I've got to fill my days with something. I might not like it, but think i might need structure.

For now, some daytime TV.
