      Hi all. So glad you checked in Stirly, horrific what happened. Congratulations JC, you must be so proud. Loved the doggie pictures girls. Glad you enjoyed the holiday Mary. Off to South Africa this year, doing the safari thing, hence not sure about WiFi.

            I am kinda sad that Summer is almost over. I got to enjoy what is left of it because winter is coming and I rather take the heat over the cold.
            I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

            Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

            Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

              Morning all.

              Lovely to see you Jude, Nora and Drifty. Stirly thanks for checking in and sorry for the strife in your life just now but very relieved you are OK!

              Lovely celebration with family yesterday. My outlaws are in their 80s but still full of life and I really admire the way they have lived theirs. Very simply but steadfastly and do not let anything much phase them. Saw people I had not seen for many years and found myself enjoying their company even if it was a bit loud !

              Off to meet chill today. Change of plans, we are not walking along the river but going into town as it is likely to be raining. Cambridge is a beautiful old city with gorgeous university buildings and again on the river. If the weather allows we will wander if not, we will find a coffee shop for a sit down and a natter.

                Morning all and special hi to nora drifty Jude and stirly- that was scary in Athens I bet - isn't it lovely you can enjoy the in-laws starts- I hardly knew my MIL was so young when she died ( me)

                      Ah shit Molly, that's typical. The warm weather is supposed to come back again. Did a long run in the lashings of rain yesterday, we were soaked to the skin, but it was so much better than running in the heat.

                      Delighted to see you check in [MENTION=11158]stirly-girly[/MENTION], hope things get better this week. Its a good time NOT to be reliant on the booze..

                      Love those nights [MENTION=22456]starty[/MENTION].. Especially when you dread it a small bit - well Im always a tiny bit anxious when I know there will be lots of booze. But its always grand..

                      Getting a big skip this week. Cant wait. So much shite to get rid of.

                              My house is returned to toys and teddies and baby equipment - would love to turn house upside down and shake it into 20 skips!
                              Just told Joe I'm on my holidays on the couch today - not sure it's going down well
