thank you darlin - I will accept gratefully ;-) funny - when I joined MWO first - all that shite was going on - didn't 'know' enough people here to open up about it - but whereas MWO wasn't enough to get me sober - it would have been some amazing help with the witches!!!

Re: August Army Manoevres

B'jesus, that was a lot of (quick) reading back... The middle of the week is darn busy in this warm part of the willy waving world.
sweetpea29 - sorry to hear about the anxieties re your paw. Don't be hard on yourself in how best to go forward in his care - all family should be pitting in. But then that's easy said and as has been discussed here it is more often than not the case. But you gotta take care of you cos as we all know, you canny care for others properly if you don't look after number 1.

Molls - heard about yer (evil) twin sisters before I think. Again I think it's that inability - well, no not inability, but lack of foresight and empathy in the moment - of others (and I would say myself at times too) to recognise that as much as another's opinions differs from our own, the way forward is not to ignore or cast aside the other's opinion or belief but to take it on board. Who know if we consider someone else's points of view, along with our own who knows if we might arrive at another new approach to seeing or doing things... Respect (all hail Aretha!)

Lost track of the candle shit. I like candles Bridgey - send me one anytime. (Hippy at heart here - but DON't tell anyone.)

Right needs to head off again - rehearsals again, but heading to a yoga class first - first time in 7 years or so... :egad: Not sure if I'm pushing myself too much or not... or whether it's good to get out and try something new. Only issue is that's so much travelling - not being a city bound laddie, need to go further afield to do what we want to do...

back laters -

Pre-loved table arrived and had an extremely interesting conversation with one of the lads.......who was actually a she. She's in the middle of transitioning to a man. Gawd, hope I've used all the politically correct words there.

Better go its getting dark and we need to work out how to put the headlights on.

The car that's just bitten the dust was about 15 years old it basically fell to bits. This one isn't new and believe it or not did have one lady owner.......but the garage we got it from has made it very shiny and it smells nice. Mr JC's got loads of new buttons to press.........it'll not be the Loch Ness monster you see when we go up to Scotland in October.........it'll be us standing on top of a sinking car because he's careered off the road playing with the CD player or changing his seat position.

Evening all 'the ones',
Its probably a female thing too, my brothers make the right noises, but dont actually 'do' anything (geography is a factor, but that wasnt always the case). Which is why my folks sold up after 40 years and strategically placed themselves between myself and my sister.. forward thinking.

New car sounds brilliant JackieClaire!
