I had morphine once - true story - was in a semi-private room with an aul one who had piles removed - she howled and screamed so much they called in the doc to give her post-op morphine cept by the time he arrived she was sound asleep - exhausted from screaming so he thought it was for me and gave me the shot ( all I'd had done was a wisdom tooth removed):welldone:
It was smashing ;-)

The coastline is beautiful - but found the rest of it cold (?) and the people 'shouty'
We stayed in Newcastle and I thought the town was a dead 'ol place. The hotel was lovely but that's it ........

Howdy sweetpea29. Nice to meet you. I went AWOL for years so don't panic too much.

Just found the best foreign film festival and have been watching my eyes square for days.
Reading back!
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

The C-Diff has been gone for weeks. You know I think they've latched onto the weight loss. Had I been in Weight Watchers......... I'd be slimmer of the week and get a fridge magnet.

Wish I stopped eating when stressed. I'd look like a heroine chic model instead of Blimpy the fecking whale woman.

Re printers-there's one sitting out in my wheely bin right now.

I don't know what it is about babying this generation. I think they want their independence but only if they can have everything straight away. Upmarket 'apartment', the best car, coolest job (not that they like working) and all with zero responsibility. That's why they boomerang so much and end up in their old room with a sour outlook on life while you support them and wash their undies. They also bring all their shit problems back with them for you to deal with. Dickheads.

Morning all.

Went to tesco and did the weekly shop at 5.30 realised I was fecked so went back to bed at 7 which was luvverly. Me n the doggers having a wee snuggle.

Hi Sweetie, dont worry about the absence just lovely to see you.

Bridgie sounds like you are right about the youngsters. Such a sense of entitlement in some of them. We repossess vehicles and bikes from those who want, think they should have but do not think they need to pay for it!

When we got married ( no no bare feet or coal on our backs!!) We saved like MAD things for deposit on house wouldn't have DREAMT of asking our mum's for a hand out or loan we had a mattress on the floor no curtains no carpets no television for a year at least - and we were so shagging proud when we would buy a saucepan - AND we were happy
