Evening troops.
Sorry about being AWOL.
sweetpea29  to you re your dad. That's hard and as Molls mentioned, 66 is young these days. So i hope for an outcome that supports him - and doesn't leave you stressing and pulling yourself in all directions. Hope your family can support you and him too.
satz123 how's the young 'un? How's your mam? How are YOU?
IamMary - my brother's first ever marathon was Dublin. Slept the night before on a park bench and ran in VERY old trainers. Got to mile 20 and was about to give up until another runner with his name, pushed him along. Since then he's done umpteen marathons and inspired his big brother to run too (me!)
Last weekend of so-called freedom. Wont go into all the ins and outs of work but going back to school this year looking a bit more stressy than planned. Hopefully in due course (you'll have to ask me in a year re due course!) it'll all pan out. Basically i resigned from the local authority i work in for the opportunity to work IN A CLASS (not had since probationer year) in another local authority. But that job is only guaranteed to Xmas - possibly to June. Then i'm on my todd again...
Have felt really low today. Like HEAVY. Like, you know if someone were to lie on your chest - that heaviness that feels like yer lungs have replaced air with led-filled tears? Kinda like that.
That aside, netflix tonight (again!) ... watching Borgia... CANNOT believe how f***ed up the old roman church was in the renaissance period. It's a bit OTT for me, but can;t not stop until i've seen 'em all. That's addition for you :haha: And i'll have that with tea and toast. And then I'll sleep. And then my plan is to drive in the gloaming to somewhere I've not been before and run for a couple of hours. Perhaps head towards near where you are going to be JackieClaire.
