Does anyone want a potato ricer? Found that on top of the auld freezer. Poor Mr JC is having kittens as he's so out of his comfort zone having to throw stuff out..........he's a hoarder.
Yes I do, actually. I suppose the postage to New South Wales might be more than the old Nigella potato ricer might be worth?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

        You could always collect
There's also a cheese-grater thingy with a handle thingy..........Zyliss Rotary Cheese Grater | Lakeland you'll need the muscles of Hercules to use it and the patience of Job to clean it.

I'll try the rats.............but knowing him he'd prolly stick a lead on them and take them for a walk on the big field.

Quite so. I'll get onto the flights and see if I can pick one up on the cheap.

You're more than welcome. Spare bedroom is the only tidy room in this house..........and you can help the neighbours pin Mr. JC down while I try and get his racing bike out of his hands ...........yes he has a racing bike he got it for his 21st.............he is 60 next year. Suppose that makes it a relic.

Think I may have a little blush...........honestly, you're more than welcome. Mr JC will take you to Hadrian's Wall and point out all the plaques him and Molly read while me and Satz just sat on the wall. I'm not a plaque person.

You never know what you will learn on this thread! I must say, skip sounds so much better than dumpster! Could use one around here at the moment...Mr. J is loathe to part with anything!

First world whinge alert............fridge/freezer arrived........lovely..........I think we'll get on well........ but the dishwasher has arrived with no instructions...........that's okay an orangutan with half a brain cell could work it out..........we have the internet and lots of brain cells so it should be a doddle............ but one of the prongs is missing on the plug. Easy peasy to put right but if we replace it could negate the guarantee and service agreement.......... So himself has gone racing up to the shop looking like thunder. You know how mild mannered he is but when he's cross (especially at little things) he turns into The Incredible Hulk and uses long words.

He's back and we're allowed to put a plug on although it was 30 seconds til they closed so they'd have said anything.

                            Evening All😊

Head a tad melted this eve.

Jacks I'm not much of a complainer but don't really think that is acceptable service tbh. You shouldn't have to replace a plug on a brand new appliance! And no instructions? All very well if Mr JC can- happy days, but if it were someone like me who couldn't replace it then wtf?!!
Get him to type up one of those letters or emails to the company- think you should be entitled to some sort of recourse?! Non?

I wonder has age something to do with the 'fuckits' ? The invincibility of youth is still there ?

Yous two probably think you're old - but you're not.
                              At 38 I thought I was ancient - but I wasn't :haha:

                              I dunno - now I'm rambling .....................
😭😭Not in my 30s any more Satz🙁😢 so cannae use that excuse! Defo don't feel invincible anymore either!
I should be wiser but seem to not so!

Good to hear the young wan isn't giving up. Someday it will stick. Sure look how long it took us all to finally stop.
