5am isn't my most awfullest time - do you hate it? Joe used to get up about then for work when he had the shop - so those early hours were MY hours - used to get up with my duvet - tea and toast on the couch and catch up on Emmerdale and Corrie.. them were the days!!!

Re: August Army Manoevres
Late check-in ....... :checkin:
Made it into work this morning via 6 Garda checkpoints - FFS. It's only 5 miles.
Had me little 'Essential Services Pass' in my sweaty paw ....... and they still interrogated me as if I was up to no good.
Then just before I came out to go home they closed the shaggin road and I had to sit & watch half a million feckers troop by. 1 hour sitting in me car.
I work very close to the Phoenix Park and the end of my workday & the end of the Papal Mass coincided.

Lovely party, so glad its over. Long run this morning and although I am completely wrecked, its so satisfying getting up early and feeling alive, instead of being miserable for 2 days. There were a few of them leaving here late last night that have no recollection of doing so, hard not to feel a tiny bit smug
Love the car JC! Happy driving :happy2:
Hows the young fella satz123?
Starty I hope your feeling a bit better this week. Mind yourself.

Re: August Army Manoevres
Right you lot.
I've given the barracks the once over while you were asleep.
Vacuumed and dusted the antiques, polished the silver and burned a noice smelling candle. Flowers on the table. Brewed coffee and toast on in the kitch.
Arsey, no leaving the toilet seat up again please. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I absolutely love starting my day with a laugh, "willy" lolQuitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.
