    Re: September Army!!!

    Evening everyone

Quick shout in to say Hi. Half asleep here so hitting the hay early

Satz- have my fingers crossed for YS x

How's the holiday going Molls? Yer wedding dress still fits? Wow!
Recently found my Mums wedding dress thought it had been accidentally thrown out but thankfully not. Only thing is it didn't fit me at 14 so hardly gonna fit me now. It's soo narrow! Nice having it tho.

      Re: September Army!!!

I gave my first wedding dress to a theatre company as I didn't want it after the divorce but as my lovely 80-year-old Nana had made it didn't want to bin it...............second wedding ( the loverly Mr JC) hired the bugger..........heaven knows what I'll wear the next time
It could be worse, I could be filing.

        Re: September Army!!!

I was barely 8 stone - so mine won't fit. T'was very narrow
8 stone then was ok 'cos I was young - but now I'd be fierce haggard at that weight.
It's still in the box it came in - under the bed.

Over 45 it's face or figure my Ma used to say ......
She also used to say - no wrinkles in a balloon :haha:

                    Afternoon.........minutes after midday here
Picked up a cold and feeling a bit chesty.............luckily I'm going nowhere other than the kit hen or the settee. Hopefully, it won't turn nasty as another meeting another blast from the past tomorrow night..........haven't seen this lass for over 30 years............we were at Grammar school together and she married one of my ex-husband's friend and as so often happen people drift to one or the t'other side...........nothing malicious it was just one of those things.

Jenny's baptism of fire in front of real life year 11s starts today........she was in yesterday in her lab.....they have many labs as its a HUGE SCHOOL .....and none of the bunsen burners or electric were working.

                    Back to settee........cough, cough, sniff.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

And if you can get them the usual spiel from the pharmacist ..........are you taking any other medications? Are they for yourself? These may cause drowsiness. Read the instructions thoroughly. Do not drive/scuba dive/ fly light planes within an hour of taking them, keep out of reach of children and give me your PIN number while you're pretending to listen and you'll say anything to get away.

                                I know!

And what if I;d walked into Boots (other pharmacies are available) having downed 12 Beechams, 16 paracetamol and smoked my way through half a dozen spliffs (ok, i'd be a bit drowsy), they might be none the wiser!

Quick check in - off to leaba. Head's been feeling light all day so wondering if i'm coming down with summit?! Will know in the morning.

See youse on the flip side folks.
