Re: One Step at a Time - September 2019

Hope you feel better, Liz. I'm heading to bed myself. Having some weird pain in back/side. Tried to schedule a doctor appointment online and it didn't go thru. So, I'll call them tomorrow.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi all,
Glad you got an appy. Nora...Lizann, feel better soon...hi Paily....going to the game tonight. Looks like we won't get any rain from the hurricane. It sure is big and making a mess! My furniture will be here Tuesday!....my cat Bruno likes to watch the toilet flush. He hangs his head over the seat and waits for it to fill up. It is very cute....b

BIrd, how funny your cat is! I can just picture it. I love it. Enjoy the game. I cannot believe you're not getting any rain. I'm glad though.

Nora, hope you feel better and figure out what's going on with you and your back, yes it must be bad for you to go to the doctor, best to check it out.

Pauly, hope you had a good day off.

Glassie, are you back yet? I think if not yet very soon. Would love to hear all about it.

Rusty, I am sure you had a busy week working. I'm sure you're ready to enjoy your weekend.

Still nursing this throat thing. I was so wiped out today. Working early tomorrow. What's everyone else doing this weekend?

Re: One Step at a Time - September 2019

Good Morning!

I am off to the lake path for a 4-mile walk. BLISS! Then...lift weights at the gym. This afternoon, I will go to my mom's and we'll go to church and have dinner. Tomorrow, I leave for Omaha for work.

Liz and Nora-:hug:hope you feel better soon. Lizann-you asked about my travels in MN. YES, it was a new client...very nice people. Thank you for asking! :-). WOW, Mark is 25! He is a very successful young man. You must be so proud of him.

NoraC-So glad you have an appt. with the doc. for Monday. I hope the pain doesn't ruin your weekend.
bird-your home and yard sound so beautiful...and yes, the sandbox....um, without the cat poop. Hahah! I think it's so funny that your cat is fascinated by the toilet.

PAULY:love: I LOVE YOUR HAIR BLACK! You have olive skin and your black hair just makes you look so exotic. :-)

Did I see that Dr. Gladys checked in???? We miss you, Glassie!

Rusty, your weekend sounds busy. I went to the park after work today, but I wasn't dressed properly and it was just too hot. I'll go out again after lunch. Have fun on Omaha.
Just eating a sandwich and figured I'd check to see what's new here. Have a great Saturday.

Hi all,
Wow I am pooped! Got home about 1 a.m. from the game and had to get up really early for my counselor appt, which btw was really good....anyway on the band bus, it was a 2 hour drive and the kids were just wild on the way....music that was all cussing and sex and singing and dancing and cussing and yelling...then on the way back they all slept hahaha. I sat with dd2 and that was nice. The busses were really late picking us up so we spent some time playing together, which she never would do with me before, idk why. So thankful for that. DD1 and her entourage came over this morning and we all went to an Indian celebration at a park. DD2 and her bf met us there. Got a good hike in, then we came back and had ice cream...a good day.....Lizann, sorry your throat still hurts.....Rusty, the walk sounds fun. I love Nebraska, have a safe trip...hi Pauly and Nora....later

Bird - that sounds like such a fun time. What a special time with your daughters. Laughed at them all asleep on the way home.

Liz - I hope you feel better soon. My pain is so much better today. Of course since I made a Dr appointment. LOL

Pauly - I hope your day got happy. We just got in the pool for a few minutes. Probably the last time this year. The water is pretty cool.

Rusty - sounds like a busy weekend for you. Energetic. Good for you. I moved from the bed to the couch - does that count as exercise? LOL

Day 1 - no diet coke so far. My plan is not to have any in the house and then go from there. Hopefully, I'll be able to stop buying them at work. One step at a time - right?

Good Morning!!!

Dr. Glassie! Welcome home, darling.
bird-wow, it sounds like you had a really fun evening with your daughters...so glad you could enjoy your time together. 1:00 AM-I don't know if I could have handled that...good that you are healthy and young! :-)

I heard from mama bear last night and she wanted me to pass this on....her husband was hit head-on in a car crash but a drunken driver. It was a miracle that he came out unscathed, as she posted pictures of their Saturday date night on FB. She is one of the strongest people I've ever "met" on here...and she has such a good heart. Just thought I would let everyone know.

My apologies for not addressing everyone else...Liz, Nora, Pauly...thinking of all of you...I am rushing to finish up before I leave for the airport.

Happy AF Sunday to all!!

Good morning and happy Sunday.
Glassie, welcome back. I can't wait to hear about your trip. I'm sure you've got jet lag. Did you bring home any souvenirs? Rusty, how nice that you're in touch with mama bear. I miss her a lot. I agree she is one tough lady! I'm glad her husband is ok, but wow, that's scary! NoraC do you have a headache from no caffeine? I don't drink a lot of soda, but occasionally enjoy a Diet Coke from "fountain". Had one yesterday at McDonald's . I prefer my coffee and seltzer. I'm glad your back is feeling better and I'm sure it's because you scheduled that appt with the Doctor! bird, I'm so glad you enjoyed you day! It sure sounded busy. What kind of an Indian celebration was it? It sounds kind of interesting. How nice that you and your girls enjoy doing things together. To me that's everything!
Off to church in a bit, then lunch with hubby. It's really nice out today so maybe a walk later. Maybe I can convince hubby to go hiking at a reservation a few miles from here. Times like this I really miss the dog,
