    I think cats always come back Mers. Two days is nothing. A neighbour's cat was gone 2 weeks ........ and waltzed back in .....

        Thanks both. Checked everywhere,mostly fields around us and we have walked everywhere, told all the neighbours.. he's never been more than 30 seconds away from food time. Ah will see..

          Good morning everyone. Ahh, hope you find him Mary, the worst is not knowing. No they are all used to me with my large glasses of water at this stage. I always have one on the go and just move it to the dinner table. There was wine around the place last night but they all amaze me with the glass left there for ages and no mad rush to fill it. I would have been plotting and planning on my next glass before I even finished the one I had. Going out for 4 hour hike this morning and so pleased to be doing it with a clear head. Going out for dinner for the birthday later. I’ll be driving so it’s not an issue. Looks cool but no rain, love the autumn colors. Have a great Saturday everyone.

            Running out the door to pay the balance of the doors and pick the glass paneling.........and the most exciting thing that's happened this year choose a new door knocker........can life get any better

A few hours later they realised the cat was missing, but could hear it meowing... no matter where they searched, no cat could be seen.

              And then they realised...

              The meowing was coming from...

              inside the wall :egad:

              I kid you not. Curiously had got the better of that pussy. (she was rescued and all was well).

              Few plans other than to clean, wash, and prep for rehearsals. Have a good saturday all.

                Door handles picked and bought a stair carpet.
                Brand new living room carpet has been christened by Bess doing a poop smack bang in the middle of it while we were out.........luckily its not a habit in the 12 years we've had her I reckon this the 3rd time.
                Told you my life is a never ending whirl of excitement :hahaha:

                  oh no JC, poor Bess. Sure she mustn't have had a clue what was going on, where was the old carpet that she wasn't supposed to poo on!

                  Just in from the pub.. running group, so loads not drinking. Like you Rustop, so nice to hop in the car and drive home. DO NOT MISS BOOZING AT ALL!

                    Just watched Deadpool...........extrememly violent & tbh gruesome in many places, very funny and just the job for a Saturday night.

                      Dropping in to say Hello! early - expecting younger grandson in a while but hopefully will get on later to post. Just a couple of comments for now....

                      [MENTION=18049]RunningCourage[/MENTION] - I used to be manager of sales and customer service at a TV station. Have interviewed many people. It's a known fact that lots of people are not good at interviews even tho' they may have the best qualification on paper and experience-wise. It doesn't mean you're not a great teacher, it just means you don't like having to "sell yourself" to those interviewing. Best of luck with your new position. It's how you do with the kids, not the interviewers that counts, Arsey!!

                      Off to get ready for young Alvertos. I'd forgotten how much energy a 2-year old has.                           Started knitting poppies for our local cenotaph.

                          Also being hit by some anxiety and cannot for the life of me work that one out........been listening to my relaxation thingy and it works for a while and then I get my worrisome head back on.

                              Be a love and drop me a text next time. I was watching BBC news in the end an in depth discussion about something heavy..........all I could think.........was this recorded or do these people actually do it live.

                              Just chucked a joint of pork in the oven.........do pop round if you need a feed.

                                Will do. And though i've just had lunch and my folks are popping round for dinner this evening (popping round involves a 90min drive), I could go a bit of roasted pig
