Re: One Step at a Time - November 2018

Rusty, good for you for taking the whole weekend! Whatever the email was it'll wait. I bought a lot of new decorations this year too. My self care as well. Just tired of all the old stuff. At the craft fair today I bought a small rustic tree for the bay window in my kitchen. Then I bought a wooden tree that lights up for my front porch. It's small as well and I'm thinking just skip the lights on the railing. Just want it easier this year. Decorated a bit in the family room upstairs and our bedroom. So I guess it's really not less, just more spread out?
Saw Logan at his house today. Their tree is up and he doesn't know what to make of it, but he is so exited!! We put his play pen away. We'll see how he does without till after Christmas, maybe we don't need it anymore.
Hope everyone is enjoying an AF Saturday night

Hi all,
Spent most of yest driving and so tired went to bed at 9. Dd1 talked the whole way there and was tired coming home. So my neighbor and I share a kinda long driveway and he put lights all the way down his side(its fenced). It looks so nice I am gonna do my side too....when I got home last night dd2 had returned from her trip to the football game and left me 4 12 packs of mineral water. I had told her to get me one while she was there, as I can't find that brand up here. Very glad for that......Pauly, loved your pics from the Shake Shack. Hope you get some big tips this season.....Liz, the crafts fair was in a castle? I don't think I've ever seen a castle in U.S.. Glad you got your mom laughing. Bet Logan will be excited about the tree when it is all decorated. My kids hated the playpen.......Rusty, nice of your handymand to work on tday. And good for you for taking time off from working, you seem so busy. As for my tday menu it was turkey, ham, grn beans , mashed, olives, celery, deviled eggs, pomegranite, blackberries and pie. Not all canned but as much as I could get easy....Nora, loving your pics....waves at glassie.....well I am going to try a new trail I found today. I am feeling bloated and fat, so much food the past couple of days......b

bird, love your projects! And your dinner sounds wonderful. Enjoy that new trail today. Yes the craft fair was at a Place called Lambert Castle. I'm sure you can look it up. It's really pretty and is used a lot for engagement and wedding photo shoots. That's pretty much all I know about it.
Off to church in a bit and then hopefully we can put all the Christmas boxes away in the attic. I still need to switch my summer clothes out to winter. I did put my flips flops in the attic, but I need my boots down now. Ugh, I hate covering up my pretty pedicure!
Hope you all enjoy a great AF Sunday!

Pauly, what are in green grinch pancakes? Good job not drinking!
Did some laundry today and the drain in the laundry room backed up and the laundry room flooded. Thankfully hubby caught it early on and only the laundry room flooded. What a mess! Hubby is amazing and unclogged it, and I cleaned up the mess, not what I planned to be doing, but it could've been worse,
Hope you all had a good AF day

Good Morning, Dear Friends!

Happy Monday and I am enjoying another heavenly day at home before I go back to work tomorrow. Local work so that's fine with me.
Lizann-UGH...so sorry you had to deal with a backed up drain! I was the cause of my neighbor's laundry room flooding a few times...:-( I am in a condo and she lives below me. The piping is really old and my washing machine hose backed up and caused water to gush into her laundry. I felt SO badly!!! Cute picture of Logan playing with his toys on FB!

Pauly-I think you are wise to let your mom and bro leave before starting the decorating. One thing at a time...right? Your mom is so youthful looking....ah, that Native American complexion that keeps the two of you looking so young...no wrinkles, etc.
NoraC- How is your Mom?
bird-loved all the pics of your creations. I wish I had your talent. It sounds like you had a real smorgasbord on Thanksgiving.

Glassy-How are you feeling?

I need to get some work done before I continue my decorating so I better get moving. Happy AF Monday to all!

Nothing going on. Put lights up on the fence and chopped some tree limbs up. Really sore again......Lizann, that castle is very pretty. Sorry about the wash, geez. I had to quit putting my summer clothes up a few years ago. Seems half the winter is summer anymore.....Paulie, those pancakes haha. Good you didn't go for the beers with your mom.....Rusty, glad you have some local work....waves to Nora and Glassie....
