I think I should have stuck to my original plan where I quit in my holidays a couple of weeks ago. Being back at work with the new supervisor (Kimbo the Bimbo as she's known) is not easy. When you combine sheer stupidity and micromanagement its a bad look. She makes my scalp prickle, quite frankly. Truth is they've set the poor bint up by seconding her to us with absolutely no research background at all. Wouldn't be surprised if they are managing her out. She also thinks that hugging me in the workplace is appropriate. Doesn't she know I'm gay now?
So I'm stuck with her inserting herself into everything for another 5 months. Need to get some strategies.

Must admit JC I'm still exhausted but probably the next couple of days, that morning will come where I slept really well and wake up feeling 'the change'. Now I want a chocolate stash.

House renos are a wonderful experience Mary....when they're finished. Especially with kids. Especially when the bathroom and toilet are involved.:cuss:

Tell her you have fierce latent impetigo and don't know when its going to manifest.

The house refurb here is getting like Mastermind........I've started so I'll finish.........now looking at wardrobes/colour schemes etc for our bedroom. Please feel free to smack some sense into me.

Honestly, Bridgeeeeeeee in these early days treat yourself kindly. I'll ship over all the trick or treat stuff we've got left over.

We had one little group all night and they were sooooooooo sweet. The littlest girl couldn't get her pleases and thankyous out quick enough. Tugged at my heart.

Why is everyone renovating? Is it because the maintenance just NEVER ENDS?

Me too - alright when it was my own & I was involved big time - now I throw water from upstairs window.

Eat the fecking chocolate Bridgee - you can replace your teeth and lose a few lbs down the line - the alternate is not as easily fixed.

The recession has officially ended Bridge over these parts. People are spending money they were afraid to spend .

Skips in suburbia ( good title for a song [MENTION=7261]Guitarista[/MENTION] ) & 'Cranes in the city' (another one Mr G) heralded the end of the hard times in Ireland.

And over in the UK I predict a recession. That's why we've pulled some of Mr JC's pension down now

Afternoon all. Thanks for starting us off in November JC. Love the rabbits Mick, are they yours? We had two dwarf ones and they lived for years and I was left looking after them.

Sleep tight Bridget and eat the chocolate as Satz suggested. Just in from getting the hair done so need to get some lunch.

hiya rusty ..yes they are mine..Ive just bonded them, as the b/w one just lost his mate. they are totally spoiled ..I keep rescues , to try and give them a better life than they started with .

Im renovating as its no longer safe to have my daughters share a bedroom. What started as a simple idea turned into a mammoth 4 room overhaul. MrM took time off and did most of it. I used to think that winning 1 million would 'change' me.. I could actually blow it in a couple of days without moving house or from my sofa in fact..

Evening all,
Just back from IKEA......oh joy. Just to buy a wee fridge for the garage (although if the weather stays as cold as this we'll not be needing it).......been out of stock for a while and its website said its back in stock today...........much happiness abounded.......went tearing off to get it and the bugger wasn't in the store. Nearly threw one of my JC famed tantrums but this nice young man arranged free delivery (normal delivery £35) and was very, very sorry

Also got the requisite loganberry juice, Daim bars and paper napkins.

I posted on last months thread.........overexcited about the fridge.

Tbh I don't know..........just a gut feeling. My kids were brought up as Europeans as well as British as well as English and as well as Geordies .........Its them I worry about.

Our re-furb started because of a wee comment about we could do with a new living room carpet.......then while Mr JC was looking as carpets I got bored and sat in a chair that led to a new sofa that led to the new doors that led to the wee bedroom and on and on and on. Its too near Christmas now to start on our bedroom that'll have to wait from Spring.

Bless you for rescuing the bunnies, Mick.
It'll be worth it in the end Mary when your girls don't top each other sharing a room.
Trouble is with the reno, everything you do up is attached to something else that then looks like rubbish. The you have to do that....and the next.

JC, I've been meaning to ask how often you go to AA these days?

Good morning everyone. Brrr it’s a cold one, the car is covered in frost. Off for a walk in it though and then have crochet class. Love Friday’s now but for different reasons than in the past. Love the rabbit playground Mick, spoiled rabbits 🐇 :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:
