Re: November Army Manoeuvres 2018

Good on you Satz. He is an adult and he has to do it for himself. If he's only in his 30's he could have another 10 or 20 years of drinking in him. There is no advantage to you being in the middle of that. It's going to happen with or without you. Pupper is coming to help you move on.
Good on you JC. Get it all over and done with and enjoy summer.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

She's landed - I'm zorsted already.
She is the cutest dog EVER & clever. She gets that from me.
-- she knows her name, she sits and I've managed to get her into the crate with treats ...... she's asleep now - but I'm finding it hard to keep tabs on her 'round the place ....

byebyebridgetjones...........and after its all over we can concentrate on the garden.

satz123.......I can't tell you how excited I am for you. Soon as she wakes up straight in the garden for a piddle. Bless her wee paws a big, exciting day and tiring day for her. She'll be having a good sleep now a) to see how you manage when she's howling all night b) saving her energy as she's got busy days ahead to train you and Mr S into her ways
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Know the feeling Satz. Have had a rescue puppy here all week that daughter is fostering . Sweetest little thing and think sheÂ’s got a forever home for her. She was just so happy to see you in the morning and full of licks and love. Think you have made the right decision with young Satz. Much better for you to come home and receive that type of welcome than dealing with him. You have done everything you could for him so step back and enjoy your bundle of fur. Just myself and my fur babies here tonight so feet up, crochet and catching up on recorded tv. Well done JC, place must be looking great. :welldone::welldone: Bridget, you are on a roll. Have the lodgers moved out? Hi Mary, Sweetie, RC and everyone else.

Brilliant plan for YS. Have you told/suggested it to him yet?

byebyebridgetjones You crack me up.. sounds like your still in school there, sitting right under the teacher nose, you pair of messers!

I have someone with me all week working on a project. Like sharing my desk, going to lunch, we pee together, in separate cubicles. Her english is not great so its even more challenging. Shes lovely, but Im exhausted and I have 3 more days to go :hung:

Morning .... day 2 for Rosie & me.
FFS. Up at 5am to let her pee and she's now howling 'cos I put her back to bed. Too stormy out to bring her (me) outside - so I asked her to pee on the puppy pad at the door and she peed beside it :haha:

Off to the gym - :horse:

Hiya folks, and Rosie!

Satz, re YS. Maybe living on his own for awhile might lead to some earlier self analysis. Sounds like if it's just him living there, then he'll have some alone time which might include some self reflection of his life circumstances. Thinking of you and YS. And Rosie!

And when she's having a wee, say ''good girl, TOILET'' or similar so that she associates going out for a wee with the word toilet. My golden retriever copped on almost immediately. Now I say toilet and she's up and off for one ready for bed. Same with ''dinner'' and ''let's go to bed'' ''get your blankie'' and a dozen other bizarre conversations we have.

Nothing better than summer in the garden JC.

Bless your girl for fostering the puppers Rustop.

Mary, I hate being shackled with someone new to ''show around'' or anything like that.

Our offices aren't particularly sound proofed either so I have to turn the air con on high to muffle my conversations.
On the upside, two people who really needed it, got it bored up themselves today. We've got a new senior staff member who is very bright and takes no shit from the sycophants. She told one of them to go fuck herself in the middle of a meeting today. It was awesome. I like her.

The cadet and I also started a white board tally of the amount of times we escalated issues to bimbo boss that she had no hope of resolving because she's too gormless. So that was fun.

Then we stole some stationary and went home. Good day all round.

Morning from

IamMary..........just out of my head. Its all blues and greys apart from the kitchen and little bedroom which is red and grey..........the little bedroom is a cold room so bringing a warm colour like red in will counteract that. The kitchen just needs some new cupboard door handles ..........it had gone through our minds to get a whole new kitchen but slapped ourselves with cold wet t-towels 'til that thought was gone.
We still need a joiner and a plasterer........even our window cleaner doesn't know one and he knows everyone. I'm thinking of contacting our local technical college to see if anyone's coming out of their time and need something for their CV........comments appreciated.

satz123........you need an industrial type all-weather jacket, new wellies, and a bobble hat.

rustop59...........meant to tell you I think I have enough squares to make a blanket.

Guitarista.......I'm gitting it..........don't be a stranger.

byebyebridgetjones........it doesn't take long, does it? Reckon I could count on one hand the accidents in the 12 and a half years we've had Bess. We started with every time she woke up she was taken in the garden. As for she's not sleeping on the bed, she's not getting on the furniture, she's sleeping in the kitchen........that went out of the window when she was spayed.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening all. Horrible day here. Managed to get walk in this morning and then had lovely day crocheting and listening to an audio book. Well done JC, blankets are addictive. How is the baby Satz? Must be a pain having a shadow Mary. Waves to everyone else.

I am waiting for a pupdate too, Rustles.

Just got out from the cupboard under the stairs.......that's not where Mr JC keeps me 'til he gets in from work....although sometimes I think he'd like to......I keep coming up with 'little' jobs.

S&H came round to help remove the old stair and hall carpet.......we're looking good for an August wedding 2019........so ladies and gents that leaves plenty of time to sort out what I'm wearing. Ideas?????

Must get my jammies on.
