Belated firework rant...........what is the point? There's a fecking exploding rocket just gone off that hasn't half rattled the windows and me..... It must have cost the price of a small house........and its been going on for weeks.....
Luckily Bess is well dosed on Xanax and she won't share I loathe fireworks.

Yes it's that 'keep self safe' first - then try to help others'. She would risk herself if she went back down and be no good to anyone - they'd both die. This way at least one of them survives.
I like to think I will survive even if YS cannot haul himself up to safety out of the bottle.

Random ambition Bridge ? Is this 'change 1 thing' week ?
I have to admit I'm guilty of that too - though for 10 hour shift we only get 45min break. The staff kitchen is a shit hole so nothing there to keep me.

still down in Daddy's- took him shopping today, man it is hard work. Like watching a child -bless him.
The invaders/visitors should be vacating my own house sometime this week -fingers crossed. The dyson will no doubt need replaced after they go as I foresee it getting clogged with dog hair.

Jacks- that's crap bout the fireworks. Don't understand why some folk think it's ok to let them off in residential areas. Grand when theyre part of an event in a large public place. It's the same in Belfast they go on for ages before/after Halloween. Thankfully Dad in country so we hear nowt like that but jeez ya wanna hear the racket from the donkey and rooster in field next to us!

Good news on the visitor fronts. Well, fingers crossed. And the best news about Young Satz! Hope thats a big confident boost for him, and his colleagues are all hilarious craic teetotalers.
We only get a 30 min break and a 15 min breakfast, so not much time to do anything except grab a sambo. We finish early on a friday - not a sinner to be seen at 3.05pm!

@SweatPea29 - thats hard going with your poor Dad. He's very lucky to have you.

I might not be a lezzer after today. I'm just not picking up the pace. Might drop a note in mad dog's letter box to let her know. Because its her business.
I just work with a team of lazy prats, simple as that. They are off for coffee all day. Half the time I don't even know where they are when people need them. What I really resent is that our whole team is getting a bad name. It's humiliating.
I also get people dropping in unannounced at all hours, Sweety. They don't do it if you've got a partner. They just assume it would be disrespectful, which of course it is.

Change one thing a week! I'm in Satz! This week I will have lunch and not be a lezzer. That's two.

Since my drinking in the evenings days - I strongly discouraged sober-dropper-inners ...

There were still some going off at 2:30am.

I thought there were plans afoot to make them illegal for private parties and keep them to organised functions.........I'd ban them altogether...........but willing to compromise.........none after 8pm.........only on Bonfire night and midnight on New Year's Eve. They've been on sale for weeks.......all the big stores sell them as long as you're over 18.

Van arrived with fridge.........bacinabit.

Today ........filled another to two bags of clothes for the charity shop and there's still another wardrobe to go through. Stuck my summer clothes apart from a few t-shirts in a suitcase to go in the loft.

Also got to the charity shop. That's my de-cluttering, one thing done. ALSO found the lost library books and brought them back (and legged it. probably owe them a zillion euro).
