Result: 2044 days - somewhat roundy :yay:

I cannot believe that this year in June it will be 6 years since I've had or wanted a drink of alcohol.
It was so ingrained in my life it was unthinkable I would be still sober.

I remain sober because the Universe ( God, whatever you call it) sent YS back from Australia as a constant reminder of what I'm NOT missing.
I just wish it (he) had found a less heartbreaking way of doing it

Anyone starting out - please stay with it - it is SO worth not to have:
* Sick stomach
* Terrible 4 am shame
* mussy head
* Lack of self-respect
* lack of respect from family
* The added shame of hiding bottles
* lying to everyone about everything
* smell of alcohol oozing from every pore next day in work
* and the 'goo' for another drink to ease the withdrawal symptoms ..... yuk
