Just a quickie........waiting for window men. Bess and I will be taking ourselves off to the back bedroom for the duration.
[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION].........there's walk-in centres in most towns. We've got one just up the road........or there's the just mentioning of a home visit which sends the reception people into a spin and a low and behold an appointment suddenly appears.
Just had a quick look-see at that Mr D........its very, very good.

I was seething and still am. They're coming 16th February.
I've used the walk-in, its not bad and they're open 8am-8pm every day of the week. I had a bit of bother with gallstones on a Sunday a few years ago. I've never known pain like it. Not a huge wait whisked into a hospital and got put on morphine.

Jenny's much better and after a ding-dong of a row yesterday decided to have another day off, self certify and going back tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. I had one of those days too Satz. Spent most of it running from a to b to c. Still have the fellas on the roof but they are not bothering me. Pain about your lot JC. Not as much planned for today and seems to be raining so it might be a crochet day.

Taking myself into town today to buy fripperies and doodads. Feel like I've been a right moaning Minnie lately. The worst thing about waiting for workmen (or women) is dithering around wondering if you can nip to the loo in case they knock on the door while you're in there and think you're out.

Rosie here on the bed beside me ( I refuse to get up ) ripping up another slipper. She's gone through 2 pairs of those ones you 'borrow' from hotels .... a good pair I got for Christmas ...... she is constantly chewing on something...

I'd LOVE to get her a companion but MrS is horrified at the idea ...... we'll see in a few months .....
I'm on a Cavachon forum and getting great tips ... good to know my dog is not the only mental one

YS has been sober almost 2 weeks - longest ever I'd say.

Hey all. I’m still navigating through the site. All these [MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION] and [MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION] is confusing me. It wasn’t like this when I used MWO when I first quit �� I guess I am showing my age! [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION] has been in touch and I am hoping she will call soon. I managed to not drink until kids were in bed. The anxiety was awful. I had a few drinks and went to bed. My cousin is coming over this evening. She is well aware of the problem so hoping her staying over will get me through today.
Thank you guys for all your tips. And yes [MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION] you have no pressure there ��

S&H's got a new job as a manager, still in retail so working bizarre hours and but is leaving Sainsbury's with a very big grin and a bigger salary.

[MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION]..it'll be her baby teeth although just before I went to a posh do our first Lab at the grand age of 13 chewed the heel off one best shoes while I was getting ready. I've always thought he just didn't want me to go out as he lurved me so much.
I hope YS keeps this going. Its so hard to explain that being sober isn't the end of the world its the beginning of a new and better world.
