Look it all helps, but I've used tumeric concentrate extensively and it's not much chop in the immediate sense to be honest.
Chuck it in there as a helper.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

MAE to coin a phrase.......anyone for a hot beverage?
Waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the blind man.
So far I've changed all the beds, removed mountains of dog hair from the sofas/lounges/settees/ couches. In fact, I've got enough dog hair to make a new build a new dog. Ordered some wool. About to order some new pillows. If he doesn't front up soon we'll be bankrupt.
Bride to be and groom to be at a wedding fair at the weekend. You can now hire llamas. There were also owls that will swoop in carrying the rings. Jenny was a bridesmaid with the owl thing going on..........it flew straight past the bridal party and sat in a tree sulking.
Luckily they'd only gone for a few ideas and the B2B got her nails done for free.

Just bought some zinc........supposed to aid sleep and energy. I shall take them religiously for about a week.

Its Starty's new Friday.:yay:
Gentle hugs to Rosie, Satz. I recommend scrambled eggs.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening troops (uh.. when exactly does evening start? always baffled me).

Midweek. Just had a pizza. Wouldn't normally (let's not go there re my other issues :haha but got a marathon on Sat so forcing additional carbs down me Me maw's birthday yesterday - had made her a book called The Hug, which i actually wrote for her years ago, but only turned it into a book the now. She was delighted.
satz123 - glad rosie's back and doing grand. Like her, my molly was bought a super lovely soft cat bed, which she slept in once, maybe twice before deciding that she didn't like separate beds so promptly couried under the duvet on mine. Where she's slept ever since. Just don't ask about the hairs. Probably gonna cough up a hairball one of these days... (feel for you too JackieClaire !)

Starty - yeah, i heard turmeric was a pretty wonder spice. I'm trying to force myself to finish a veg curry that I accidentally tipped half a jar of turmeric into :haha: the amount of salt i needed to add to take away the bitter taste probably counter acts any goodness turmeric does. Arteries hardening as i type.

Right, better get back to writing school reports... :egad:

What a lovely gift. Im intrigued, what the book about, a story, poems, your mam?

Hope Roise doing ok today.

Yawing my head off this week. I am getting enough sleep just cant get enough oxygen into my body! Usually my stress sign, but I dont feel too stressed this week.

Good luck RC on the marathon.

Did the blind man show up JC??

Evening all.
RunningCourage - you've written a buke ????
Tell us more -
Am I in it ? :hyper:

That veggie curry sounds yummy ( not )

Rosie is sure proof that you can't keep a good woman down. Jumped up out of the V expensive dog bed on to the actual bed last night a la Molly the Cat......
She's not supposed to jump or move too much so we've been on sentry relay duty all day.
Next 9 days will be a challenge - 'cos I can see the mischief coming back already.

Mr S was all business today earlier minding Rosie. Wouldn't leave her side - but a day 'stuck' indoors is causing a severe bout of cabin fever.......

Watched all of 'After Life' yesterday. Excellent - v sad & funny.
Loved the dog. I can't believe how I've gone from not even noticing dogs to absolutely LOVING them.
That includes poor Bess JackieClaire sitting on my lap when we visited :haha:
I'd be all over her these days !

Joined a 'Cavachon Owners' group on FB and even offered to mind a puppy in April for a local girl .....

I've decided as soon as Rosie has recovered we will take her to the sea ............ deffo ......

Morning,
The blind man came and they're rather nice........just in time to stop me spending next month's pay on more fripperies. He will be visiting again as we're having another one put in the utility room but they'd run out of the fabric I chose.

satz123........Bess needs a bit of a run up these days but still can land in your lap and then you can't see the TV.

Just finished Shetland and now started on Baptiste. A new Line of Duty due.

Glad you enjoyed your break, rustop59

Can I adopt you, Arsey???

Waves to all as I'm away to town.

Of course she ignores it in favour of a manky rug ... :haha:

RunningCourage, could we have a couple of more pages please, that taster left me wanting

Listening to 2 sisters on the radio today, they had awful bad luck, lost 2 siblings over the years to natural but tragic causes. Another brother suffered with mental health and alcohol as a consequence and ACCIDENTALLY drank too many beers too quickly one night and died. Nothing else in his system, accidental death they said.
I always thought death from alcohol would have to be vodka or other spirits.. not so.

Watching Collateral. So far so good.

Night all.

Very late check in......would have been here earlier ago but trying to book tickets for Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat took eons and Mr JC banging his head off the wall.......think we eventually got seats on the roof with the promise of the soul of our first grandchild and unlimited access to chocolate cupboard.
If that experience is anything to go on we'll be adopting RC about the turn of the next century.

IamMary....its a sad fact that alcohol kills. From that first drink, it alters minds, moods and our bodies. Doesn't matter what form it comes in. Some of us can drink safely.......... some of us can't.

Oh, and I got my shoes for the wedding.

Tell Rosie to shift over........I'm getting in too.

Morning all,

Thanks for all the suggestions of supps. Never heard of magnesium oil? Will have to investigate. I do take magnesium but not regularly as they are so big they get a bit stuck sometimes and puts me off. Turmeric I have taken but this time nothing seems to work. Off to queue at the docs for 8 to beg him to inject me with steroids into my hip :egad:

Rosie is a lucky lady. Glad she survived her ordeal.

RC that is a lovely thing to do for your mum she will be delighted

Mary that tale is tragic. Wonder how many it took to do that and if there was an underlying issue or was it the progression that tipped over.

Dont think Ive seen collaterol Mary. Must look it up. Been watching all the early episodes of line of duty which is great and a new series on the way!

Thinking of going away for the weekend to stay at the outlaws if they'll have us. Enjoy visiting and we get spoiled including the doggers so hopefully they will
