Re: March 2019 Army Thread

Did someone say the B work :egad: NoSugar, wash your mouth with soap! Yep, its going to affect us all over this direction. I dont know how they are going to get around it, all these big brains and still no solution.
I predict it wont happen

Delighted to hear your FIL's diagnoses starty. A big weight off your mind. My dad is only a couple of years younger and I still think of him as a young fella!

Congrats on the new addition to the circle JackieClaire, I bet they are all besotted. Maybe its contagious

Dont blow away Rustop! no point in doing the hair these mornings...

I would love to stop paying the insurance but worried to make the change. We never had insurance in all the years until we took on the puppies. Now we are kind of stuck a bit. No worries, I will win this war with them.

Congrats on the new arrival!

Lots of walking today. Hope the hip holds out. Been having a lot of pain lately which is a nuisance

Well hi dee hi loves!
Agree re: After Life, howled my eyes out. But then I also did with Derek.
So JC, I imagine that if you stick anything in your lug holes it has the potential to affect balance a tad. Glad you're hearing the world again though. You always have the option to 'tap the volume down' like Grandad Sugar. Sometimes I take my glasses off so that I can just not see it all for a minute.

Starty, I think you've got another convert here. Thinking increasingly of going part time. I think that by the time tax is taken into account I wouldn't be too far out of pocket. But much more sane.

Well it's Friday arvo and I have a lovely weekend ahead. Finally starting to cool down. Hopefully the 30-40 deg days are over for a while. Really missing classic Autumn. I suppose that's gone for good too.

I am very busy with the crocheting, mastered hats have moved onto booties, well trying converse but we will see. Have my class this morning so looking forward to that. Bad hair day every morning this week but getting the walks in so that is good. Happy Friday....

Morning, woke up to the tragic news coming from New Zealand. If I lived a thousand years I will never, ever understand such hatred.

byebyebridgetjones...........the ear trumpets are chipped, so I'm at the mercy of my new BFF, Daniel the ear person. Mr JC did ask if I could be tracked using the micro-chip thingy.........even if Dan could, he's in for a very boring life tracking me. Tesco, M&S, Aldi and home.
Btw think about the fuel, the lunch money, the clothes money, coffee money etc you'll save going part-time.

Enjoy the crochet, Rusty.

Off to work.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: March 2019 Army Thread

Absolutely horrifying story out of Christchurch. It's just beggar's belief, JC. I heard a particularly ugly addition to the information on the radio yesterday. I won't elaborate but this is someone who has no respect for life or anyone.

You are so right, JC. And once I get rid of the freeloaders there will be even more disposable income. For me....
We're getting a nice lot of rain today. Perfect reading and binge TV weather.

Must be the time of year for babies. A colleague bought hers in to work yesterday. The little thing just slept her way through all of the passing around and noise.

Got to say I really don't understand Brexit. Must do some reading on it.

A great relief for both the Starty and JC families then? Getting older is not the romantic thing it's cracked up to be, hey?

I'm just sitting here giggling at the GPS tracking idea, JC. Mine would go to even less locations than yours. Home. Work. Woolworths. Home.
I think I'll go off to look at a new lounge this morning. That would probably trigger an atypical activity alert for potential terrrorist activity. :harhar:

Evening,
Very very sad to hear whats going on in Christchurch. Spent a bit if time there and loved it, but whats not to love about New Zealand. People who commit these crimes cannot be sane.

Well I think my ear tracker could probably self drive after a few weeks..

So I forgot I had one of these presentations this morning to the senior management team and rocked into work in ripped jeans and platform runners... go me and my career.
Id take part time in a heart beat, but a) they dont offer it and b) Mr M not happy in his job and wants to chuck it all in for a lovely arty self employed gig that wont really earn a cent. Which is a nice thought, but not viable right now. or ever probably (but I can't say that).

Morning,
It has snowed. It is windy. But there are three rugby matches today...........I do throb a bit of rugby.
It's a quick run round Aldi and then home and then hunkering down.
Three episodes of Vikings back to back last night......... just could not be arsed to watch the Red Nose forced jollity.

I did see that Mick describe the B word as very like Y2K. All hype and nothing happened. We're certainly not stockpiling.

IamMary..........loving your look. More thinking about business than looking business.

All business as usual Chez Satz.

YS back drinking - Mother stable

MrS usually takes Rosie to the local park for her run around. I decided while he was away to walk her in a more public place. She has NO lead manners at all. Tug, Tug, Tug.
I now have to go back to basics and teach her to no pull on the lead. :egad:

Apart from that she is still a sweetie.....who follows me everywhere and doesn't like to be alone.
But I find it hard to do some of the hard core training I've seen. She just wants to be part of the gang...
JACKIECLAIRE : delighted you are getting on well with the aids. ... I have to say I never noticed yor hearing being bad ?

A different way of life these days on a Saturday night........doing my roots and watching the footie. How times have changed.

Jenny's spent a small fortune on training Buddy. He can sit, twirl, jump, give paws (left or right on demand), do that thing where he intertwines through her legs but take him for a walk and she's got one arm longer than the other by the time she gets back. Its a whole exciting new world when you're a young 'un. Much sniffing to be done.

Evening everyone. Horrible day here but made the most of it and got lots of crocheting done. Thanks for the laugh Mary and Satz.

Nothing major planned for tomorrow, might get walk in if I am lucky. Feet up now and going to watch Ray D’arcy (talk show). Like you JC, living the high life.
