Just a quickie. Haven't been here as Mr JC spilled water all over the modem Tuesday night. Did actually give details of the furious and somewhat uncomfortable row we had but deleted it. Too many details and it wasn't fair on him.
Got a new one last night.
Having a divil of a time getting onto MWO.

Funny that you should say that.....2x vodka trousers and 3x wine tops last night....wouldn't it be ironic if we ended up homeless because of a shopping addiction instead of booze dereliction?

Ahh JC, these little accidents happen. Don't we get into a flap when we can't get onto MWO?
Up early this morning, which is annoying but a bit of a blessing really. Nice to get the most out of the day, watch the sun come up and get out into the garden early.
Try doing that on a hangover....

Was vodka your drink Bridge? I always fond that if i drak vodka i really never knew when to stop. I just didn’t get drunk.... until i did and then it was very messy. Same with gin and not so bad with JD. i think because of the mixers it made it harder to judge than wine.

No 10k Mary I spent yesterday in a load of pain and feeling sorry for myself. This recovery lark is not very linear and seems to be 2 steps forward and one back at times. I never realised it would be this hard. My friend came round yesterday who has had a knee replacement. Of course hers was much worse than mine :haha: .

It wasn't just the modem thing we could have piggy-backed off next door. Lets put it this way it opened a huge can of worms that needed to be 'talked' about. Its not a happy house at the moment and things are going to have to change. Not just for me but for the benefit of both of us. 35 years of marriage is not something to be thrown in the bin.

Mr. JC saw his surgeon yesterday. His hip is back where it should be and its looking good.

This morning I have walked twice rescued a baby hedgehog and now back in bed for a rest. I would beat her with a stick but I think it would make little difference but she is nice so she gets away with it
