I keep reading about the fires Bridge and mean to ask you about them. Are they far from you?

I love bananas, eat at least 1 a day, delighted to hear they are not bad!

Good morning all. Think most whole foods are good in moderation. It’s the processed stuff that is bad, they are now saying that the protein bars that are all the rage are bad. Give me a banana any day.

No work today. Boiler man was to come this morning but traffic was too bad so he turned back! Said he would be here tomorrow mid morning. That actually suits me better, I’ll have my walk done and got to walk this morning instead of waiting around.

Puppy is gorgeous, lab, goldie cross. Product of puppy farm, family only had him 3 days and he nearly died. They paid for his treatment and surrendered him as it was too much for them. Think daughters boyfriend may take him. He is just a ball of fluff and love, makes me smile every morning I come out, he is so pleased to see you.

I want that ^ pupper :heartbeat: A cross of my favs.

Fires are horrendous. Thanks all. Main ones are nowhere near me but relatives up in the northern part of the state have been told to leave their rural property....and leave 70 head of cattle and several horses behind. They won't go. They've registered as staying on for now. What a fecking nightmare. We've been following the fires in the US in horror as we waited for our turn of course. It's just the speed at which situations change that scares me.

Are there JCs all over Queensland? I hope they're OK!

Satzy I will never recommend anything else but WW. I'm about 20 kilos down now. It is properly researched and based on empirical knowledge. They have great systems and tools, an amazing online support forum, lots of choice and balance. It's all so doable, sensible and sustainable. The new programme, released 2 weeks ago in Australia and a couple of days ago I think for the rest of the world, has a choice of three plans as you'll already know. The Goddess Oprah cannot be wrong. I'll be your WW buddy if you like!
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

GMAE.......
Still, no news on the kerfuffle the other night but I've just seen the bloke next door to us talking to the bloke who lives next door to the kerfuffle action so the gossip will be forthcoming. The joy of living in the suburbs never ends never starts either but we've got a good bus service.

Banana skins are very good for plants. Wiki told me.

I always look on Bess as my sobriety dog. Didn't matter how shit-faced I'd get she'd get fed and watered. Dogs don't judge.
Do puppy farmers getting very long sentences?

satz123.............checked the frock its a size 12.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening,
Those fires are frightening Bridge, peoples livelihoods literally going up in smoke.

Rustop, your great for fostering dogs, it must be so hard to give them away after..

Anyone watching Marcella, season 2? Im glued to it (uncomfortable watch in parts).
Freezing cold out there.

Night all.

Morning all,

Rustop I so admire you fostering pups. I think I would end up keeping them!

Bridge, fire is a huge fear, I really feel for the folk who are or might be affected by it. Climate change is real I do not understand why more is not being done.

Yep I saw Marcella a few years ago. V Good. Gold Digger on BBC is also great. Just watched the whole series in 2 days.

Work apparently are giving me a job that doesnt involve team management. Yay! I will be managing external co's still. On paper it sounds great. Lets see what reality looks like.

Good morning everyone. Oh that’s great news Starty, delighted for you. Thanks for the Netflix recommendation Mary, watched the last series so must put that on my list. Any update on the neighbourhood drama JC? Horrible horrible morning here, just about got a walk in.

Think this little puppy will be staying, at least in the boyfriend’s family. He was ordered online and delivered to the door and paid for in cash ffs!! There is no excuse, there is so much advertising about it. People who buy from them are as much to blame. Laws here are not strict enough. One guy got jail but only a few years. My little jr came from his place and the conditions were horrendous. She is still not 100%, very afraid of men. Hubby had a black hat on at weekend and she ran away. All kinds of health issues. Lucky daughter is looking after her. However she’s a joy to have and I love to see her playing with the puppy and even putting manners on him.

rustop59....that's awful about the puppy mills! They exist here in the states but the laws are getting tougher, and many of them have been shut down. I worked as a vet nurse for over 20 years and have seen the health problems that affect dogs from careless breeding. It is both emotionally and financially draining for the folks who buy these puppies. I've seen people pour thousands of dollars into an animal that will likely be plagued by health problems for most of their lives. It's a very sad situation, and one that stems from greed. The only happy outcomes are for the puppy mills owners, and personally I'd like to hang them by the balls!!!:furious:

Rant over! Have a great day all! (Or night, depending on where you are)

Evening from England.
starty...........sounds like good news for you Fingers crossed.
Jude58.........a vet nurse. Bess loves ours. I've just realised we've been with our vets for over 35 years.......hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and four dogs and a few goldfish. No wonder our vet's got a second home in the Lake District we paid for most of it
Met a street sleeper today with Oscar his rescue pit bull. The man can't get re-homed because of his dog so he's staying on the streets for now.
If you need someone when you're hanging people I'm very good at knots.
rustop59...........vague gossip about drugs and the daughter of the house but yet to be confirmed. Its all go in the suburbs.

The new floor is being fitted in the kitchen and the blinds for the landing tomorrow and that's it 'til Spring 2020. Too tired to do a happy dance as I attempted some Christmas shopping this morning.

mollyka, please talk later. Get the feeling you're really down in the dumps..........hope I'm wrong.

There's an awful lot of rough sleepers who are actually clean and sober but too scared to use the shelters in case their stuff gets stolen. I'm quoting here 'too many smack heads have taken them over'.

Kitchen floor peeps here. They'll be gone within the hour. :applouse:

Good morning everyone. Yea Molly, please come and vent if you need to. It’s such a shame that one person can make such a difference in the work environment. I’m sad because you always sounded so happy to be going into work. One suggestion, can you think of (or anyone else here) any crazy/funny image of said person that instantly makes you smile. I’ll give an example, I have one very annoying neighbor. She’s one of those women who have a personality transplant when there is a man around. Another neighbours husband commented after one social occasion that she was like a lump of cow poo (sh..) stuck to his shoe, he could not shake her off. Every time after that when I could feel myself getting fed up or annoyed at her, that comment would come to mind. Her batting the eyelashes, thinking she was beautiful and all the time this particular man was comparing her to cow sh...,

Seems to be like that everywhere JC, Really feel for them this time of year. My daughters practice volunteer on the streets and treat the pets for free. Another vet has recently set up a scheme where you can get a dog from a reputable breeder through them and for each adoption that goes through them, they donate a vaccine to the homeless pets.

Crochet this morning so better get a move on.
