Re: November 2019: International Army

Hey Jackie - and Rusters… that sounds like a well good idea Rusty :applouse:-- may indeed give it a go.. she wasn't in today and it was just so different.. but yeah - I am pretty low at the moment Jackie... I feel I'm coming out the other end tho.. probably the time of the year - but also just a few things have gone wrong and I'm a bit cheesed off about that.. but look - we all have our problems - and I'm just going to give myself a good talking to!!!

How's everybody?

Been trying to write this post for nearly two hours.
First himself came in from work so he had to ooh and ahh over the new flooring and blind. There's a minimal amount of flooring to see as its covered in layers of newspaper from the amount of mud that Bess is bringing in from the garden. Counting our blessings that its just raining and muddy and no major flooding this far north.
Then a chat with Jenny.........she's watching Children in Need and crying through most of it. She's coming up for the weekend........girls night out.......luckily leaving Budzilla (the beagle)and Ads (the BF) at home.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Some of the Puppy Farms here have up to 300 breeding bitches - and it's legal once they're registered.
I will help you hang them by the balls ....
I am art of a FB group & we warn people & publish lists of farms when we get it.
My neighbour was warned in the group but still was fooled & the puppy at 8 weeks has been to the vet 4 times in 2 weeks with fleas, a cough, an infection.

Molls don't let that bitch annoy you. But I know first hand how they can ruin your day.
I actually did not know myself when the 'ol bitch I had to deal with left.
Well she was elbowed out eventually.
People quickly ( sometimes slowly) suss them out - they eventually get what they deserve.
You just bide your time - it'll happen.

Our latest addition blatantly lied on her CV & at interview - cos she is not able to do anything. She's all bluff & "oh yes I know." She doesn't.
Leaves it for me to do.
She does all the 'to be seen stuff' .
So like you Molls I am biding my time - enjoying my few hours and no stress 'cos I then just leave it for her & say I ran out of time

IamMary - just finished Series 2 Marcella. :egad:

Morning everyone. I would love to sit here for the morning and have a lazy one but I have been summonsed to my parents' place for a family geneology session, which I am to take over one day. Relatives are coming from the big smoke for the occasion and I am so chronically tired that I can barely get off my arse.

Hope you are OK Molly. Sometimes part of the problem is confusion as to why someone would behave like that in the first place. Are they completely unaware of their effect on others or do they just not care, their head is so far up their arse? Don't suppose the space is big enough that you could avoid her for the day?

Came away from the dentist with 2 minor restorations instead of 3000 dollars worth of work as the first dentist asserted. Scammers.

Rustop that is amazing. I would take my puppers to that practice on principle. They have to be shut down for good these aholes.

JC it has GOT to be finished now???????
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Evening,
Those puppy farms are awful, the stories you hear about them.. Your daughter is fantastic Rustop, fair play to her.

I was flying through the supermarket today, really pressed for time. Passed the booze isle and thought, that would have added at least 10 mins as I tried to find the most potent bottles of wine and figure out how many Id get away with in my trolley (because you always meet someone).. so time consuming, even before the bottle is opened.

satz123....I think it's great that you're warning people on FB about the puppy mills! The more educated people are, the more likely they'll buy from a reputable breeder, rather than from a puppy factory!

Molly, ( do you still hate the @ thing?) I used to have a supervisor who was awful, and I would dread going to work everyday. One of my co-workers bought me a voo doo doll which represented my evil boss, and it did wonders for my state of mind! I know this sounds sick, but a couple of stabs every morning was very cathartic. Seriously though...try to look at the big picture, and as someone here said previously, she will soon hang herself. Letting her get to you hurts no one but yourself.

Good morning everyone. Very true Jude, like the idea of the voodoo doll lol. Just had a short walk with the doggies and now going on long hill walk with hubby. Happy days.

satz123.....................keep on sharing those places. Cruelty to animals and children are often carried out in the same place.
If you're after pedigree you should meet the sire and the bitch, where the owners live, track their feedback way before the puppers are even conceived.

byebyebridgetjones...............its done and tbh so am I. Just the big tidy which happily coincides with Christmas this year.

Brilliant Jude. I watch too many thrillers and Id be afraid she'd end up dead one day and Molly would be left with a well stabbed Voo doo doll!

I am supposed to be in town now with a big gang of women all on the lash, freezing. Couldn't face it and told a big fat lie. Watched a cheesy movie with my kids, fire + magnum, happy out. I will probably have no friends left at this rate!

How did the genealogy day go Bridge? My Dad spent years doing it too.. v interesting!!

Good morning everyone. Great choice Mary, you are reaping the rewards this morning, bet they do not feel as good. It’s much harder for younger people as we have such a drink culture in this country. As you get older people have health issues and even the ones without an alcohol problem do not any interest on going on the lash. My crochet group are a perfect example. We are going to the Bay City Rollers soon and 90% of us probably won’t have a drink and the ones that do, it will be one or two. So don’t worry about friends, you will find your tribe down the line.

Had lovely 4 hour hill walk yesterday. After such a horrible week, it was actually mild and no wind. Tired after it but glad to get it in. Daughter went out with friends and stayed overnight so I was puppy sitting. It’s like having a baby but he is adorable. Have a lovely Sunday all.

Jenny has been and gone. She's a different woman from two years ago........think she's found her niche in teaching. Night out with her friends up here and she was home by 1 am and not falling over drunk. :egad: Luckily she'd brought in a Maccy D's on the way back so we sat on her bed and ate cheesy bites and fries.

Thought I'd be very active and try and sort some sense into the back bedroom............ended up reading a Bunty annual from 1990. There's a Beano one waiting for me tomorrow.

rustop59.........I've got my crochet out again. The light's too bad for cross-stitching and I'm trying to make a giganto blanket. Keeps the heating bill down as it drapes over my legs now.
