      Lovely food and fab company at my cousin's house. She's always been the little sister I wanted. Played Articulate for the first time and lost. I had her husband (a surgeon and daughter (a very, very clever girl)............I'm claiming we over thought it.........or is it over thunk.

        Only thing to do with a seizure is valium or more booze or worst case an ambulance.

            Never heard of Articulate, but I want it now..

            Great news on the rain Bridge, every little helps, as they say in Tesco.

            Hope tomorrow works out for everyone, our drinking guests and our sober selves. Its a awful lot of work really, I question our global sanity every year. Anyway.. ham turned out pretty good, just the dam bird to manage tomorrow.

            Off to do the hohoho bit. This will be the last year as the youngest is bearly hanging on (although she slept with her sister because the idea of Santa breaking in freaks her out).

                    The lull before the craziness starts. Jenny and Ads en-route from York & the S&H awake.

                    I get a quiet hour about one o'clock when they go up to see Grandma as she gets overwhelmed by too many people and the oven might blow up.

                    Overspent, overtired and a bunged up nose but I'm not blurry and shaky like the olden days...........I'll call that a win.

                      That's another sober Chrissie under the belt. A lovely day was had. Thanks Baby Jaysus.
                      The child got far too many presents but is still not a spoilt girl and was as gracious as a three year old can be.
                      Got to say everything I put together turned out perfectly. That's what happens when your shrunken brain is not rattling around inside yer skull like an atrophied marble, your eyes are ringed black and you have to stop and lean on the bench every few minutes to stop the nausea and head spins.

                      Laughed my head off at Santa breaking in Mary. Have a great day with the kids.
