Afternoon everyone. Welcome back Tabs, hope you enjoyed your walk on the beach and glad you enjoyed your night out Mary. That’s what my crochet group are like, lots of laughs and no alcohol involved. Very sad about that man Molly, there for the grace of God could have gone any of us. Anyone have anything exciting planned for tonight? I’m chauffeuring the happy couple and other daughter is working tomorrow. Only plan I have for the New Year is to get back to healthier eating and exercise as much as possible.

Less than an hour to go and my lum is still not reeking but when it does I hope it lasts.

Just back from the sober cafe I used to volunteer at. Fab food, fab company, and Kitty's wine heated non-alcoholic ginger wine. Doesn't half warm the cockles of your heart, clears the sinuses and jolly good for minor chest infections. It was heaving. So lovely to see so many people enjoying their sobriety.
We're back sharp as the fireworks will start in just under an hour and to be honest they're really not fireworks they more like mortar bombs that look pretty around here.
Bess although drugged up to her whiskers still has to looked after and tbh the disco was a bit loud to say the least.
Just saw this in the cattleman's cafe from Slo......

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since that Y2K nonsense.

I remember Y2k well.. We were all contracting and were offered €1000 to work that night! of course the alki in me wouldnt hear of it :egad: Id snap the hand off someone if they offered it to me now!
