Well, it looks as though I managed to sneak through before the site went down too!! And congrats to those with new jobs!!
I can't imagine working until 70, let alone 80 or 90!! Retirement ages aren't lawful here (age discrimination) but we can collect superannuation at 65 and that's exactly what I intend to do :-)
I know I'm a bit in and out of MWO at the moment ..... partly because I'm busy getting used to being a busy and productive member of the human race again (I fell off the cliff a bit in 2017-18 - and it wasn't a pretty sight!) and partly because I'm really trying to limit the amount of time I spend in front of the laptop/i-pad/phone screen.
I'm really starting to see some results from my "eat healthily and get a bit more exercise" regime that started when I got back from holiday. But I had to get a whole lot of blood tests done in preparation for my hip surgery, and the cholesterol ones weren't that good. So I've just taken all the cheese and dairy stuff out of my fridge and given them to my neighbour. That's my biggest downfall, but I'm also very partial to pork in all its forms, ice cream and eggs. So i'll have my last two eggs in an omelette tonight and I've just signed up with one of those places that bring around all the ingredients that you need for a nice "lean meat and vegetables meal for one".
Hope the maintenance isn't too long!!
Our work has a few people who have been home to various Asian countries for Chinese New Year and are due to come back over the next couple of weeks. They are all being asked to self-quarantine for 14 days. Mr B's daughter works for a place in Beijing, but she is pretty happy to sit it out there - as far as she is concerned she has a 3 week paid holiday from work and is happy with how it is being dealt with there.
