The Fleetwood Mac girl, Jax? - I had a big crush on her back in the day - Anna Friel now mind you. Still, I had a spare hour (the beauty of retirement) so I watched THIS. You will need Sky to watch it but it is well worth it. You may need the tissues at the end!

I recommend the whole series and "Playhouse Presents" The Pavement Psychologist (TV Episode 213) - IMDb as Anna is in it!!!! It is also written and directed by "Luther"

@Baclofenman........I tried 40 seconds of Love Island............. I gave up. Worryingly the niece with anorexia/bulimia is very much influenced by that and other shows...........not sure how to put it..........the absolute complete shit of how a woman is supposed to look.

My Fave Fargo was the Billy Bob Thornton series..........its so gruesome and sooooooo funny.

Evening everyone. Hope all ok with you Mrs A? Working week over and heading off in the morning. Another weather warning so will probably be washed out of it but at least it is a change of scene. Not sure about the WiFi so will check in in a few days when I get back.

Same. its my girls that cause 95% of the drama here. My son is so laid back, he'll fall over one day, but he does like a good natter, which we tend to do in the car. Then we open the hall door and anything could happen...

Another secretary has handed her notice in. The big boss has said at least the new ones will be fulltime.............one only did 4 days a week and the new leaver was forever off sick (tbh I always thought they were very tolerant).

I've decided Buddy is actually half ferret/half Beagle by the spaces he can squeeze through. Its just me and Bess and Vikings today.............sigh.

Good afternoon, things here still difficult but coping OK. Mr A improving but the treatment is tough. I am managing to get out and have a run which helps with my mental health.
Hope everyone is Ok with the doggies, tantrum kids etc.

The Wire is grand lass!

Vine is a bit of a BBC left wingner for my liking, tho we liked to do the quiz on Radio 2 in the mornings. Radio wise LBC, is my choice, Maagid Nawaz is probably the most inteligent, life affirmed and articulate man I have ever heard, even tho we are on polar opposites, politically wise.

Wedding plans all go - DD is arranging it all herself.

The most exciting thing I did today was pack some giveaway bags. Then we noticed that the telescopic metal straw giveaway resembled an anal probe so we all ran around the office giggling and prodding each other's bums with it. I'm not kidding. That was the highlight of the day.

One more day until sleep in day.

But they were essential and by Mr. JC sitting on me so I didn't lose my temper with them and it paid off. Oddly enough the cunning Boxing Day plan talking to the MOB she felt the same as what you're going through now.
Gawd do you remember when I was given a money off voucher for teeth bleaching and told I had to wear a smaller hat than the MOB
