Hahaha!! Love it Satzybum but this girl would be dressed in mauve. The rest of you can pick out whatever colour you want!!! Oh what fun it would be when all of this is over to meet up in Greece. I can actually sleep 6 people at my place if you count the big sofas I have. :smile: And I'm only a 15-min drive from the sea!! Would be great craic. Mind you we'd have to get [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION] on a long flight but I bet she could do it!!!

Thanks Benjy but Joeys partner is sending some up to me..she has them at work too

A holiday to Greece just seems like another world now doesn't it?! Just cancelled our Scottish trip..the June one will be next to go...paid for poxy flights for that..won't hold my breath getting that money back!!
It's a nothing thing in the scheme of things at the moment tho

Yeah kinda agree. And we'd have immunity by now. Something like Boris's half arsed idea od herd immunity earlier on - but with no proper plan.

Molls - 7 deaths so far - I really think we're doing well.
The government have taken control of the private hospitals and that has created loads of beds & 6k staff .....

The 5 old folk in the home - diagnosed with COVID-19 have their 14 days done & have recovered. :yay:
So don't be anxious - the good news is out there.

Great news all round, Satz. Those "oldies" seem to have a lot of stamina!! Hope we are like that at their age....

Beside myself here as my middle daughter is in Africa trying to get back home and they keep cancelling her flights. She is on her own out there and the hostel is closing tomorrow also they are closing the borders tomorrow night. May be able to get a new flight tomorrow I am so worried.She lives in Norway but has a UK passport so no idea about repatriation flights.
I haven't slept for 2 nights.

I'll have you know Misss Curly Wirly Stirly Girly...........I looked up flights to get to Athens for this April..................flying from here to Shipol then onto Athens at a very reasonable price...................unfortunately the flight to Athens was at the other end of Shipol half an hour after I landed..............I'd have needed the speed of Usain Bolt.....:hahaha:........so I thought better and will save for a direct flight.
Tbh I'm a much better flier now I'm sober. It seems so much quicker when you're not waiting for a stweard with the frinks trolley.

Hideous situation.........

The UK will be re-patriating British Passport holders............can she get in touch with the embassy. They're bringing 400 home from Peru this week.............not sure how.

Thanks JC and Molly I have just tried the number! No answer. Sent her the information and website. Ideally she needs to get back to Norway as she is an operating theatre nurse over there and has lived there for12 years but kept her UK passport.
Will try other websites now!

Got her passport details now. She has just managed to get a flight to Johanasberg Airport in the past 10 minutes.. Perhaps a flight home tomorrow midday! (maybe)
I am going to bed now as I am exhausted and think I can sleep.

Thank goodness I am sober!
