Re: International Army July 2020

J.C I Never watched the match although big supporters of our footie club. Weather here also awful with gale force winds/rain but not cold.

Feeling positive and determined probably as I am not in pain. Mr A only just got out of bed and looks a bit more normal.

Mr JC just listened on the radio and him and the lad next door just banged on the wall when we scored.....then it went silent.

So happy Mr. is looking more normal. Give him a gentle hug from me.

I'd forgotten the winds coming your way, go canny, luckily we've got the Pennines to take the brunt.

I got my big 'to do' book out and wrote a list. So I did a to do list.............nothing huge. One was washing my hair and looking up for a counsellor who specialises in rhubarb obsession...........
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening everyone. Glad you got back in one piece from the camping Mary. Irish weather does not lend itself to camping. We did a lot of it in Canada but last time we went here we were washed out of it. Never again. One more day of work and then I am off for a few weeks. Looking forward to the break.

Might have a pick of the roast beef, before the Bridge one wakes up..

Happy travels Molly! Im off tomorrow again. Dentist though, lovely.
Whats the plan for the time off Rustop?

Do you think you'll be back into the library JackieClaire? With mask/screen?

126 page doc released tonight on the Back to School plan. Lots of confusion of course, but onwards...

Watching Succession (sky Atlantic). Brilliant. so far.
Not much on the cinema, but we went to see Green Book the other night (we escaped from the camp site for a couple of hours). Super movie.

Good morning everyone. Good luck with the dentist Mary. Going west again, have a cottage on a lake. Himself fishing, not a lot for me to do but will bring books, loads of crochet projects and will have my two doggies so lots of walks. Have been so busy inside and outside that it will be nice just to get away from the house for the week.

We don’t have Sky anymore, wonder if Succession is on anything else, must check it out, need something else to watch. Enjoy your holiday Molly, waves to everyone else.

Can't give up Sky Rusters...might be last bill to go!!
We need a cottage in Sept. Not going to Cyprus..just doesn't appeal to me at all..imagine being on plane beside someone with a cough...or muppets from all over world who say ' I haven't got the virus'...that's like 'when did you stop beating your wife'
Beside a lake sounds lovely Rusters tho I think the dog might be factored in to where we go FFS!!

Good luck with dentist Mary ..is it only urgent stuff they doing or would they do check ups and polishing?

Last heard there were 13 mega boxes of face masks in HQ of libraries...asked VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE should they be sent out to staff in branches....flat answer ...'no'....public service my bollix...

HAve a look at 'How to get away with Murder' on NetFlix Rusty
It's good - a little flippidy in parts for the subject matter.
A lot of that cliff hanger - staring off into space stuff - a la Dallas. if you know what i mean ?
But you get sucked in !

.
Molls - enjoy the hols way out Whest 'cos your days of up & off will soon be over :haha:
Although loads of hotels are now Doggie - friendly.
We got a voucher for The Lodge at Ashford Castle & I'm bringing Rosie whenever we go.
Mr S is not as happy about that 'cos it'll interfere with his drinking in pubs....

It'll be like having a baby in the house - but sooo worth the love you get back.
What kind of dog is it Molls ?
I can't wait to see your doggie.

All this from a previously anti-dog person. Didn't hate them but could take or leave them.
So beware :egad:

Morning...................sunny but windy when I say windy.........I mean a gale.

satz123.............a true convert to dog worship.

I came with a dog so Mr JC didn't have a choice when we got together. He knew he was second in the pack from day dot. Luckily until the rise of dog friendly cottages etc I've got a good pal that would look after any of our dogs.
There was a bit of a gap when Bonnie ( rescue Keyshund) died............the S&H was about 3 ish when she died...................so then we had guinea pigs (they're fab little creatures) rabbits, goldfish, hamsters even stick insects. We even looked after my brother's parrot for a month............now that I wouldn't advise. They're noisy and hard to cuddle.
Then we had Dylan the Magnificent..........a rescue Lab.
Then Troy ( a rescue cross Rottweiller/Alsation ) we had to give him back to the RSPCA because he attacked Mr. JC...........he became a guard dog...........Troy not Mr JC
Then of course Bess another rescue.........hard to believe she's been here 14 years and we got her when she was 18 months plus

Won't be going to our hotel this year...............its a six-hour plus journey and not fair on our old lady................who's lying on the floor, snoring and farting and chasing rabbits in her dreams.

IamMary..............I'll be going back to the library...........got an e-mail the other day to say they're looking at the end of August for opening.
I've got my eye on volunteering at an alcohol place but they're not taking volunteers at the moment.

Jacks. Young Satz tells me the things he knows I'd like to hear.
So at the weekend he said the AA meeting he used to go to is back 'live'.
Was just a matter of getting a bigger room....
So probably not long till you are back
