mollyka.........bet those wee boys aren't so wee anymore.

deedoo............so glad you've got a counsellor and a doctor on your side.

We're up at SIL's tomorrow for tea and cake. Our niece was 23 yesterday. A much-wanted baby as my SIL first pregnancy ended in when the baby was born at five and half months and died minutes after birth.

The saga of the Kielder trip goes on or doesn't as they're not going. Jenny & Ads are coming here for a couple of nights without Buddy the Beagle............ they're leaving him with their dog walker as they're back at school 7th Sept. and need to get him used to seeing her again after months teaching from home or just going in on their designated days. There's always been one of them at home.

And tomorrow we start the complicated business of changing our GP. Wonder if they look at my notes and tell me to bugger off. :harhar:

Good luck with the GP change JC.

You sound very determined deedoo, THE most important element of a quit I think.

Back to work after a week off. Havnt even had a peek at my laptop. The dread is starting to kick in now.. If I hadnt quit, I would be very drunk now :egad:

Morning and waves and stuff,
We really need to sync our Bank holidays.
Its been on the cards for a while this GP change since the kidney fiasco and after the breast cancer wobble last year made up my mind. Then after Mr. JC and I filled all the forms in last July to change to our local doctor and trotted like up to the local one ............they were all in order but I'd had forgotten our IDs.............the shame. Felt like a right tool.
So we'll give it another go this week.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening everyone. Just in from work so need to have a read back to catch up. Had a really lovely weekend, weather, food etc were amazing. You are not alone JC, we once went to open a new bank account, handed in both driving licences and she came back to tell us that they were both out of date. Back in a bit.

Re: International Army August 2020

Turned out that the sun shone so we sat in the garden at SILs. Sang happy birthday and came home.
Got a man that can and does coming to sort our internet on Saturday afternoon.............fingers crossed no more piggy backing off next door.
Apparently its going to super speed, we'll see the difference straightaway and £5 cheaper. I'll believe it when I see it.
Night night lovelies. :heartbeat:

Quick cheeky lunchtime check in.

I was an every day quitter.

AM: Right I'm NEVER doing that AGAIN! THAT is IT! TOMORROW is the first day of the REST of my LIFE! (Grandly)

PM: Just once more for the road.

That's it Pauly. I always maintain the day I found out the best cure for a hangover was another drink - was the day I started on the slippery slope.
Up to that I would just plough through the day and accept my fate.
I see 'normies' around me doing that still and it seems to be the difference between us & them ......
Maybe we are just 'in the moment people' - instant satisfaction - disregard the consequences?
I know I am. I never dwell on the future - maybe just where I'm going on holiday.
It serves me well living in the day - I'm not a worrier - but let me down with regard to alcohol.
