Re: International Army September 2020
Good morning Army and a happy September to all!!
I really can't believe that it's September already. In spite of all the Covid restrictions and limited movements, this year has flown by so far.
Hope we get some news from Mrs A soon!
Wishing you all a very satisfying day... inkele:

Re: International Army September 2020
Morning..been fighting over date for last 10 mins so guess I'm right!! September huh? Could say it'll be great to see the back of 2020 but tbh 2021 isn't sounding too much of a party either
Howdy lovely Nora...great to hear from you..can't do links nor nothing on this phone...it's so full I can't open or download any poxy thing!
Can't understand why you've to fill up forms etc for GP...mostly we just make an appt. with a different one
Maybe cos ours aren't free but I'd rather pay the 50 quid and freely float!Contentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Re: International Army September 2020
It's not free............NI (National Insurance) is paid on a sliding scale of how much you earn. Think its similar to Canada and Australia.
It's just a formal request my old doctor to release mine and Mr. JC's medical history to a the new doctor and proof that we are UK citizens.
Dentists ( we get up to about £300 of treatment), opticians and podiatrists aren't free.It could be worse, I could be filing.

Re: International Army September 2020
If you earn under a certain amount here you get a medical card so you get everything free..but it's not much..think it's under 30k and no savings...or less maybe...nothing free hence lots pay private insurance...that's a bit like stopping doing certain lottery no.s always afraid if you quit paying you'll need it..but in the scheme of things it's not madly expensive ..think ours is about 140 a month for the two of usContentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Re: International Army September 2020
Evening everyone. Hard to believe it is September already. As you said JC some days felt like a month. Any word from Mrs A?
Glad to have my working week over. Need to play catch up in the house with laundry etc. The downside of being away. Also have one room left to paint so will be dragging my painting gear out.
